    Neptune Apex Automatic Feeding System

    3 reviews

Neptune Apex Automatic Feeding System Overview Feed your fish consistently, and safely, while you are home or away! A key component of caring for aquatic animals is regularly providing them with food, but in amounts that get consumed immediately so as not to pollute the aquarium. On top of that, most species do best when they are fed all throughout the day. However, overfeeding of aquariums is one of the top reasons for water pollution and tank failures. With the AFS, you can use the Apex to schedule to feed your fish small amounts of food from once, to as many times as you like throughout the day. You can even set the exact days to feed or not to feed. And, if you are measuring water quality using ORP, you can even hold off feeding if the ORP values drop too low in the tank. The most obvious benefit of the AFS is that it can feed your fish when you are away on vacation - no longer do you have to worry about a friend or family member forgetting to feed, or worse yet, overfeeding your tank! The Neptune Automatic Feeder uses a stay-dry system prevents caking and clumping A common issue for most aquarium auto feeders is moisture getting into the food, making it clump or cake and clogging up. The AFS has a motorized food delivery system that automatically extends and retracts into the housing for each feeding. And, the food container has a built-in gasket that seals out all moisture once it is retracted. Pretty cool, huh!?Build complex feeding routines with the Apex and the AFS Since your AFS is part of the Apex ecosystem, you can build automated feeding routines that really do all the work for you. Imagine kicking off a symphony of operations on a timed schedule, like this: Turn off skimmer Turn off return pump(s) Set VorTech pumps to Tidal Surge Dim LED lights to 40% Wait 5 minutes AFS feed cycle x 2 Wait 10 minutes Turn on return pump(s) Wait 10 minutes Turn on skimmer Turn LED lights back to normal Features Feeds pellet or flake food in varying amounts Apex can be set so that the AFS will feed from one time to as many times as you like throughout the day Connects via the Apex AquaBus Stay-dry system has a sealed food container that extends and retracts for each feeding. This keeps food dry and prevents clumping. The lowest setting feeds just a few grains of pellet food so multiple small feedings are possible Allows for optimal feeding - small amounts many times a day Feedings can be combined with other operations such as powering off return pumps, skimmer, etc. and then automatically turning them back on after a set amount of time. Adjustable mounting clip extends up to two inches (or Velcro can be used) so it will work in almost every aquarium configuration. Includes 15' AquaBus Cable Compatible with the Apex, Apex Lite, and Apex Jr. AquaControllers.

  • Neptune ATK Auto Top-Off Kit - Version 2

Neptune ATK Auto Top-Off Kit - Version 2

    2 reviews

    In Stock

Neptune ATK Auto Top-Off Kit - Version 2 Overview The ATK (Automatic Top-off Kit) is a simple, standalone, and complete solution for replacing water lost to evaporation. Version 2 of the ATK offers an improved PMUP as well as improved optical sensors. The new aquarium hobbyist has many challenges, but none is more annoying than the chore of adding water, every day, to make up for that lost to evaporation (a.k.a. topping off/up). This alone usually makes the automatic top-off (ATO) device the first piece of automation equipment purchased. The ironic flip side of this decision is that a faulty ATO device is one of the leading reasons for catastrophic aquarium failure, or even worse, flooding of the house or business. Not all ATO devices are created equal. Sadly, many ATO on the market are made with cheap components, have very little protection against these catastrophes, and are just a nightmare to assemble and install correctly. Features Apex owners get even more value - If you already have an Apex of ANY kind, setting up the ATK is still super- simple. Just plug in all the components, attach it to your Apex via the AquaBus cable, and then run the set up task inside Apex Fusion. With the ATK connected to an Apex, you get the added benefit of having email/text/iOS alerts if there is an emergency and you can integrate its operation into other functions. IQ-Fill (standalone mode only) - IQ-Fill (standalone mode only) IQ-Fill is an intelligent and learning algorithm that, ongoing, monitors and records how much water your aquarium needs for each fill, and then calculates a maximum time your pump should run. By doing this, it dramatically reduces the chance that your pump would continue to add large volumes of water to the tank before you could realize it and fix the situation. Back-up mechanical float valve - While a float valve mechanism itself is certainly no high-tech solution, it is exactly what you want to have in place should all this high-tech gear decide to fail. The float valve on the ATK will never see any action unless for some reason the electronics continued to add water to the tank despite the optical sensors being submerged and the IQ-Fill algorithm limiting run times. For those small systems (usually small all-in-one aquariums) where the float valve will not fit, you can remove the float valve from the bracket and you still will have two levels of safety backup. PMUP - the most powerful pump provided with any ATO! - The PMUP is a 24V utility pump that is perfect for moving water from your RODI reservoir to the aquarium. This pump has a vertical design that easily drops into most water jugs or ATO reservoirs. The best part about the PMUP is that it has the power to deliver water to your tank even from remotely located water reservoirs. Most other pumps that come with an ATO will barely pump six feet, the PMUP though has the ability to pump over 14' vertically so it can even pump water up from a lower-floor or basement water storage location! FeaturesPlug and play ready. No mounts to assemble. No bare wires to attach. 3 Levels of Safety Protection! Two optical water-level sensors (one for water level and one for emergency back up) IQ-Fill water run-time intelligence - learns how much water you use at each top-offMechanical float valve prevents water overrun if electronics should ever fail DoesNOT rely on ANY fault-prone mechanical float switches, temperature sensors, or capacitive sensors! Works Standalone (NO APEX NECESSARY!) Advanced features are unlocked when connected to an Apex (i.e. remote failure notification via text, email, or iOS alert) Includes PMUP, a powerful 24VDC pump that can push water vertically up to 14'Audible failure alarmAdditional features with optional accessoriesWhat's Included FMM- Fluid Monitoring Module (runs standalone) Pre-assembled water level mechanism with:Magnetic acrylic mount (works up to 1/4" glass/acrylic) Two (2) optical water level sensorsFloat valve90 degree tubing fitting PMUP ATO Pump 24V 36W power supply 4m of orange RO tubing 3/8" -> 1/4" push-fit adapter fitting 1/4" -> 1/4" push-fit siphon break Set-screw for non-float-valve applications

  • Neptune Trident Testing System Neptune Systems Trident Testing System results as seen in the Apex Fusion app.

    Neptune Trident Testing System

    In Stock

Neptune Trident Testing System Overview The Trident is an automated testing system that regularly tests alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium in your saltwater aquarium - and then communicates this information to your Apex so you can get alerts, and change your dosing. When combined with the DOS (available separately) it creates a fully automated system for the proper dosing of supplements, maintaining them at consistent levels. How Neptune Trident Works The Trident is a self contained automatic titration colorimeter. That's quite a mouthful, for sure, so let's state it as simply as we can. The Trident is basically automating what you (and top scientists) do already when you test your water, that is, perform a color changing titration and interpret the results. On a scheduled basis the Trident carefully mixes its reagents with a small amount of sample water from your aquarium. While doing this, it is measuring (titrating with a precision peristaltic pump) the amounts of each that are necessary to reach an expected color change (determined by the electronic colorimeter). When it finishes the titration, it sends this sample/reagent fluid to your waste container. It then interprets the results of that test and logs the value into your Apex.Easy Plug and Play Set-upFrom the box to testing in under 15 minutes! Unlike other testing systems, there are no reagents to mix, tubes to cut, or pumps or probes to calibrate. Simply plug in one cable, two tubes, and run the setup task on the Apex Fusion mobile app - it holds your hand through the installation with helpful videos along the way.Consistency and Precision, Test after TestThe Trident tests with a precision of +/- 0.05 dKh for Alkalinity and 15ppm for Calcium and Magnesium. This is better than humans can do consistently with every hobby-grade test kit on the market.Understand Your Aquarium Like Never BeforeWhen you start getting the regular data coming in from the Trident you will be amazed at the things you can see happening. The daily light cycle swing on calcium carbonate uptake. A salinity drop by watching magnesium. An out of sync dosing of calcium. This increased understanding ultimately helps you maintain a better, more successful reef.Out of Range Actions and AlertsYou can set up your Apex to alert you, or take immediate action(s) when a parameter falls outside of the safe zone you specify. As just one example, you might be dosing an Alkalinity solution and a misconfiguration could lead to overdosing of your tank. The Trident will catch that, alert you, and give you more time to make that correction before its too late and to save your aquarium. The data from the Trident can also be used to turn on and off other devices (like dosers or solenoids) to protect your tank even more.Automatic Dosing and Control - Ultimate StabilityThe more stable you maintain proper levels of Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium, the better your corals will grow and thrive. But coral uptake of these supplements often changes and requires us not only to perform more testing, but also seems to put us in a never-ending state of adjusting our dosing levels. The Trident, when paired up with one or more of our DOS systems solves this problem with Automatic Dosing Control (ADC) When configured on the Apex, ADC will take the results it receives from the Trident and use them to gradually turn up or down the amount of additive your DOS delivers. But, don't worry, we have built this feature with safety in mind. With ADC you set your target value and your starting dosing amount and ADC will only tune that dosing level +/-35%. If it takes more than that amount of dosing to keep your aquarium at your target value, then the Apex will stop ADC, revert to your starting dosing amount, and alert you that you need to manually adjust your dosing level. Then, ADC can be re-enabled and it will continue to guide your DOS so that it keeps you as close to your target value as possible. It is possible to use ADC for all three tests - Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium. You can also use one test value to adjust up or down more than one additive delivered by the DOS (i.e. Triton system).Simple Infrequent Reagent ChangesWhen using the default testing schedule of four (4) alkalinity, two (2) calcium, and two (2) magnesium tests a day, the reagent stored inside the Apex will last a full month. And adding new reagent is super simple - just slide out the drawer, remove the old bottle(s), and replace them with new ones. If you desire, you can also run a calibration with the included calibration standard. Features Automatically tests seawater for Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium Up to 24 Alkalinity tests per day with +/-.05 dKh precision Up to 12 Calcium tests per day with +/-15 ppm precision Up to 12 Magnesium tests per day with +/-15 ppm precision ~7.9ml sample water used per parameter tested ~7 minutes testing time per parameter tested Up to one month of testing before reagents need changing based on base level testing of 4-Alk, 2-Ca, 2-Mg per day. When combined with DOS system (available separately), the data from Trident can be used to automatically raise or lower the amount of additives dosed as necessary to maintain stability at user set point. • Neptune pH Probe Neptune pH Probe close-up

    Neptune pH Probe

    In Stock

Neptune pH Probe Overview Neptune now offers both the pH and ORP probes in a double-junction construction for the Apex controller - these probes are built so they hold calibration longer and have a longer lifespan than single-junction probes. Single junction probes put the reference electrode in direct contact with aquarium water. Over time, the junction will slowly leak aquarium water into the electrolyte which changes the accuracy of the probe and requires more frequent calibrations. Double junction probes place a second vessel inside the main electrolyte with a second internal junction. The means that even when the aquarium water eventually begins to make its way in the first compartment, it still has to go through the second junction to contaminate the electrolyte surrounding the reference electrode. These probes will not only work with your Neptune Apex but virtually any other controller or monitor that uses BNC connections.

  • Neptune Apex EnergyBar 832 Neptune Systems Apex EnergyBar 832 front view

    Neptune Apex EnergyBar 832

    In Stock

Neptune Apex EnergyBar 832 Overview A great aquarium just got easier! Energy Bar 832 Ultimate Power Control Hub! This Energy Bar 832 was redesigned from the ground up. Not only does it have eight 120V AC outlets, but it includes an internal 100W 24VDC power supply as well. That power supply feeds three built-in 1LINK ports as well as two 24VDC accessory ports. Each individual outlet has power monitoring and there are individual LED indicators for each outlet. Read on and watch the videos for more info. Power Monitoring: For years we have been asked to do the power monitoring of the individual devices connected to each outlet - but it just wasn't possible without breaking your bank. Now it's here and with comes tons of benefits. For many the cost of the electricity to run a successful aquarium is a major concern in their household. Even for those where electricity is cheap, we believe most aquarists care a great deal about their energy consumption and its effect on the environment. Ironically, our energy usage could be directly connected to excess greenhouse gasses, the warming of the oceans, and the bleaching of the corals! However, armed with the right information we believe aquarists will not only be able to make operating and purchase decisions that will save them hundreds of dollars a year, but they will also be able to reduce their carbon footprint. Built-In 1Link and 24VDC Ports: This Energy Bar has a built-in 100W, 24VDC power supply that can control up to three Neptune Systems 1LINK products like the WAV and DOS. It also includes two switchable 24V DC on/off outlets that are compatible with any 24V device under 30W and Neptune Systems 24V accessories like our Practical Multi-purpose Utility Pump (PMUP). Individual Outlet Indicator LED: Each Energy Bar AC outlet as well as the two 24VDC accessory ports have their own status LED. This LED tells you when that outlet is energized. The LED will also blink rapidly if a device is plugged in that exceeds the current capability for that outlet. Alarms and Decisions based on Power: Since the Apex is receiving continual power usage data from the Energy Bar 832, it can be configured to send you notifications when a device is not using power as it should be. An example would be a return pump showing no power consumption when the outlet is on or a skimmer whose power consumption will show differently when its airline is clogged when compared to normal operation. These high and low limits are completed customizable by individual outlet. You can even use this power data to control other devices. All Outlets Relay Switched: Times have changed and it is fairly uncommon now for aquariums to have AC devices that must be cycled on and off continuously. This means that we could now switch all AC outlets to relay switching since there is no need to have soft start and there is no concern for the noise of the relay. Please note: The EB 832 is not backward compatible with the Classic Apex, or the Apex Junior controllers!

  • Neptune Apex Flow Monitoring Module (FMM)

Neptune Apex Flow Monitoring Module (FMM)

    In Stock

Neptune Apex Flow Monitoring Module (FMM) Overview The FMM (Fluid Monitoring Module) from Neptune is a multi-purpose module that, with the help of various accessories, enables your Apex to do: Flow Monitoring Leak Detection Water Level Detection Power 24VDC accessories Future sensors Neptune Apex FMM Flow Sensors Return Pump: Measuring the flow of your aquarium's main return pump is an incredibly useful piece of information. The key benefit would be to have the Apex notify you the instant the flow stops for any reason - usually the result of a failed or faulty pump. Furthermore, an indication of a reduced flow rate could be used to determine that the pump or the lines are dirty or are becoming clogged with algae, debris, animals, or the growth of organisms inside your plumbing. Auxiliary pumps on reactors and the like: This is a very handy application for the FMM. Place a flow sensor on a device like a carbon/gfo/biopellet reactor and it serves many purposes. First off, you will know if your pump is not flowing correctly or failed altogether. Next, you can easily fine-tune the flow into the reactor by watching the dashboard tile on your Apex. Finally, you can know when the reactor is becoming clogged with detritus or possibly channeling has occurred by an alert on your Apex or by monitoring your dashboard.Put a flow sensor inline to your device, plug it in to the FMM, and see exactly the flow rate of the water (any aquarium fluid really) going through that sensor. The industrial-grade flow sensors use either a turbine or paddle- wheel mechanism (depending on the model) to measure the flow. It is important to note that the flow rate that will be reported back to you from the flow sensors will likely be far lower than you expect or what is printed on the pump label or documentation. This is due to head pressure loss from physical height differences, long runs, restrictions such as ball valves, fittings like elbows, tees, and reducers, and then finally the loc-line many use as the entry point into their tanks. As an example, a pump rated at 3200gph will likely be showing less than half that amount in nearly all applications. Four Ports: The FMK comes with three flow sensors but the FMM has a total of four ports. This means you have one port free to use for another purpose. Buy additional flow sensors (available also in 2" and 1/4" sizes) or choose from other options available and add even more functionality! All accessories are sold separately. If you wish, there are complete kits available (Neptune FMK) that will get you up and running with the most popular options.

  • Neptune COR-20 Water Pump Neptune Systems COR-20 Water Pump 3/4 view

    Neptune COR-20 Water Pump

    2 reviews

Neptune COR-20 Water Pump Overview Your return pump is by far the most important piece of equipment on your aquarium. It circulates the water which is basically the life-blood of a tank. Creating a great aquarium is just like building a great body - it all starts at the core - and this is precisely how our pump got its name! The COR is a variable speed, brushless, DC-driven centrifugal water pump designed specifically for aquariums to be intelligent, energy-efficient, unbelievably quiet, and incredibly powerful for its size. Features Runs Stand-Alone - No Apex necessary! Compatible with all Apex Systems Up to 2000 GPH (7500 LPH) For internal or external applications IQ-Level sets the proper min and max flow for your aquarium Includes over-sized 1.25" union Energy efficient - Uses less than 90W of power! Incredibly quiet No Apex Necessary! The COR-20 does not require an Apex to operate. If you do not yet have an Apex don't worry, much of its functionality is available from the button and LED interface on its driver. However, connect it to your Apex and it becomes the most intelligent and feature-rich aquarium pump on the market today!Compatible With Every Apex. All COR pump models are fully compatible with every Apex system on the market. Simply connect the COR pump driver to any available AquaBus connection on your Apex system and then run the setup task in Apex Fusion. It's that easy!Great Flow To Power RatioThe COR-20 puts out great flow while at the same time being super-stingy on power making it friendly to you wallet and the environment! Be sure to plumb the COR-20 using the largest diameter pipe possible to get the best performance. We recommend at least 1.25".Advanced ControllabilityThe COR was built from the ground up with Apex controllability in mind. Control your pump output percentage, get real-time operational feedback from the pump, integrate it into complex feed routines, and monitor the status of the pump from anywhere in the world via Apex Fusion.Easy InstallationConnect the plumbing, plug the COR into its driver and plug it in a 1LINK port. With just a few button presses you will be able to set the pump flow rate and feed modes. A set up task will take you step by step through the entire install process.Whisper-Drive TechnologyThe COR uses the latest in Vector Control, BLDC motor technology. This drives the COR pump in a way that is both energy efficient as well as nearly vibration and noise free. Go ahead, we challenge you to find a quieter pump!Obstruction DetectionSnails, filter pads, or other foreign objects often find their way into a pump. Should the intake to your COR or any of your plumbing become significantly obstructed, the COR will alert you by flashing the LED on the driver. When the COR is connected to an Apex and the internet, it will send an alert to your mobile device as well.Internal Temperature MonitoringThe pump driver is continually monitoring the internal temperature of the COR pump motor. If it reaches an unsafe level, the driver will slow the pump down just enough to bring the temperature into an acceptable range while also providing you a notification. Some pumps shut off completely when they have a temperature issue, but the COR slows down so your tank will continue to circulate - giving you time to address the problem.IQ LevelSet the output level you desire for your aquarium and overflow capability and the COR will memorize that and make it your "100%" for your aquarium. If power should go off, when it restarts it will always return to that memorized setting. Also, during feed modes, your water will not completely back-siphon. This prevents the burping and bubbling that normally occurs when a pump powers back up.Feed ModeWith some simple configuration in Apex Fusion you can set a Feed Mode that will slow the pump to any level you choose. You can even have other tank operations sequence with this feed mode and the time interval of the Feed Mode can be customized as well. The buttons on the COR driver also function as an easy to use feed button.Included FittingsThe COR comes complete with all the fittings necessary for most aquarium configurations (0.75" output, 1.0" input). But we've also included a 1.25" union for the output so you can connect the pump in a manner that will result in the least amount of head loss. Plumb your main return-line in 1.25" and get the full potential of the COR pump - as much as 50% or more flow! Features Onboard FMM accessory ports. The Apex Pro has a total of 4 Includes the Liquid Level Sensor - 15 inch Includes the new Optical Leak Sensor (LD-3) Includes the new and improved Temperature Probe Neptune Apex is Wireless Internet Ready! For years we have advocated a wired network connection for your Apex due to its superior reliability - and we still do. However, for many people a wired connection is just not possible. So, for this Apex we spent countless man-hours developing an incredible 802.11g/n Wi-Fi connection with reliability that rivals a wired connection. And, the connection process to your home network is amazingly simple - getting you set up and on the Apex Fusion cloud service in just a couple of minutes! Apex Energy Bar 832 Ultimate Power Control Hub This Energy Bar 832 was redesigned from the ground up. Read on and watch the videos for more info.Apex Power Monitoring: For years we have been asked to do the power monitoring of the individual devices connected to each outlet - but it just wasn't possible without breaking your bank. However, armed with the right information we believe aquarists will not only be able to make operating and purchase decisions that will save them hundreds of dollars a year, but they will also be able to reduce their carbon footprint.Built-In 1Link and 24VDC Ports on the Neptune Apex: This Energy Bar has a built-in 100W, 24VDC power supply that can control up to three Neptune Systems 1LINK products like the WAV and DOS. It also includes two switchable 24V DC on/off outlets that are compatible with any 24V device under 30W and Neptune Systems 24V accessories like our Practical Multi-purpose Utility Pump (PMUP).Individual Outlet Indicator LED: Each Energy Bar AC outlet as well as the two 24VDC accessory ports have their own status LED. This LED tells you when that outlet is energized. The LED will also blink rapidly if a device is plugged in that exceeds the current capability for that outlet. The Neptune Apex offers Alarms and Decisions based on Power: Since the Apex is receiving continual power usage data from the Energy Bar 832, it can be configured to send you notifications when a device is not using power as it should be. An example would be a return pump showing no power consumption when the outlet is on or a skimmer whose power consumption will show differently when its airline is clogged when compared to normal operation. These high and low limits are completed customizable by individual outlet. You can even use this power data to control other devices. All Outlets Relay Switched on the Apex EB832: Times have changed and it is fairly uncommon now for aquariums to have AC devices that must be cycled on and off continuously. This means that we could now switch all AC outlets to relay switching since there is no need to have soft start and there is no concern for the noise of the relay. 13 Total Connections Available on your Neptune Apex! 8 - 120V AC Outlets all switched with relays rated for millions of cycles3 - 1LINK 24VDC Smart outlets for devices such as WAV, DOS, etc. 2 - Switchable 24VDC outlets for accessories such as small pumps, solenoids, fans, etc. What is included in your Neptune Apex Pro Box 1 - Neptune Apex Pro Base System 1 - Energy Bar 832 1 -Temperature Probe - new design 1 - Double Junction ORP Probe 1 - Double Junction pH Probe 4 - Built in FMM ports 1 - Optical Leak Sensor (LD-3) 1 - 15" Liquid Level Sensor See images for product comparisons and what is included with the different models. Neptune DDR DOS Dual Reservoir

    1 review

Neptune DDR DOS Dual Reservoir Overview This attractive fluid containment system stores your dosing fluids in style and tells you when it's time to refill! The DDR has great style and will stand out in anyone's equipment room. But it's not just about style. It may not look like it, but each side of the reservoir holds an ample two liters (2000 mL) of fluid. For most saltwater aquariums that are dosing Calcium and Alkalinity to their aquariums, this amount is more than enough to last at least two weeks. If you were dosing other additives it might last months before needing a refill. The DDR was also designed to have a low center of gravity. This means, unlike other reservoirs on the market, it is very difficult to inadvertently tip over and ruin your day. Features Each side stores two liters (2L) of fluid Connects directly to your DOSThe DDR is the only dosing container on the market that connects electrically to your DOS and uses optical sensors that alert you when your fluid has approximately 20% remaining. Apex Fusion ReadyAlthough not required, the DDR interfaces directly into your Apex Fusion dashboard. See in real-time your fluid levels and get an alarm when a reservoir runs low. Optical sensors inform your APEX when levels are lowOne simple connection links the DDR to the DOS. No worries about fooling around with loose wires, float switches, etc. Just plug it in and it will show up in your Apex Fusion Dashboard. Strong, cast-acrylic construction Low-profile - won't easily tip over Easy to refill Push-fit tubing connections Use for 2-part (Alk/Cal), additives and other applications Specifications Size (Approx.): 10.5" x 8.5" x 5.5" Fluid Capacity (Approx.): 2000ml per side Weight (Approx.): 2 pounds Requires: Apex, Apex Lite, or Apex Jr. and DOS to operate sensors Package includes: DDR, 4m of DOS tubing Use only with fluids compatible with acrylic. Neptune COR-15 Water Pump

    In Stock

Neptune COR-15 Water Pump Overview Your return pump is by far the most important piece of equipment on your aquarium. Features Connects to any Apex with a 1 Link port available Up to 1500 GPH (5700 LPH) For internal or external applications IQ-Level sets the proper min and max flow for your aquarium Includes over-sized 1.25" union Energy efficient - Uses less than 50W of power! Incredibly quiet No power brick means clean install Connects To Any Model Apex Via An Available 1 Link PortThe COR-15 uses a relatively new connection standard for the Apex called 1LINK. The 1LINK port provides up to 50w of power as well as the control signal to connected devices. The advantage for devices like the COR-15 is that no additional power supplies are necessary. These 1LINK ports are present on the recently released Energy Bar 832 as well as on a separate 1LINK module. Compatible With Every Apex. All COR pump models are fully compatible with every Apex system on the market. Simply connect the COR-15 pump driver to any available 1Link port on your Apex system - either an Energy Bar 832 or a 1Link module. It's that easy!Great Flow To Power RatioThe COR-15 puts out great flow while at the same time being super-stingy on power making it friendly to you wallet and the environment! Be sure to plumb the COR-15 using the largest diameter pipe possible to get the best performance. What's Included COR Pump COR-15 Pump Driver 1.25in. PVC Union (Slip->BSPP) 1.0in. • Neptune GRO Refugium Light - Flat Mount Neptune GRO Refugium Light - Flat Mount being used and growing algae

Neptune GRO Refugium Light - Flat Mount

    In Stock

Neptune GRO Refugium Light - Flat Mount Overview The GRO is a specialized, 20W LED light designed to grow many types of common macroalgaes (i.e. Chaetomorpha) using a specialized light spectrum which maximizes photosynthesis. It plugs directly into any available DC24 port in your Apex ecosystem, or alternatively, it can also be run completely standalone.Compact Design Compact, flat, rectangular LED grow light measures 8.7" X 6.1" X 1.4" making it the perfect fit for the smaller refugium compartments in many modern aquariums - as well as those that wish to grow macroalgae in a separate refugium.84 LEDS With Optimum Spectrum84 LEDs in four colors create an evenly distributed spectrum optimized for macroalgae growth. Two key wavelengths for algae photosynthesis are emphasized - 455-460nm and 620-670nm.Large Surface Area of Illumination with Less Spillage Large, rectangular form promotes better algae growth, while reducing nuisance algae from light spillage, as intensity is evenly spread across a refugium area that is almost always rectangular. The GRO can effectively cover a refugium area up to 18"x24"Even Light Distribution With No Hot Spots Round, spotlight style refugium lights, often create uneven spread of intensity. This causes hotspots that lead to algae burning or stunted growth. With the GRO, the 84 LED in a rectangular form factor create even light intensity and no hotspots.Less Nuisance Algae Due To Light Spillage Nuisance algae on in our sumps and on our equipment is normally one of the downsides of using a refugium. Since most refugia are rectangular, the GRO projects light in a similar manner. Also, with its low-power, distributed LED design, the GRO can be placed very close to the water surface further limiting light spillage and therefore nuisance algae.IP64 Water Resistant Design The GRO is IP64 rated which means splashes and salt spray will not take it down. This means it can safely be placed close to the water surface, maximizing light effectiveness, and reducing wasteful light spillage that often causes nuisance algae in other parts of a system.Easily Connects To A Free DC24 Port Power the GRO using an available DC24 connection in your Apex ecosystem (on Energy Bar 832 or 1LINK module).Operates As A Standalone Light As Well If you do not have an available DC24 port, or you wish to use the GRO without an Apex, a power supply is available so it will operate standalone. Two Mounting Options An available gooseneck mount comes in two models: A traditional clamp style mount to attach it to the edge of your sump. And a unique pipe-clamp mount to attach it to your existing plumbing above or behind your sump. Features Compact LED grow light with 84 LEDs in four colors, two key spectrum ranges for optimal macroalgae growth Large, flat area of illumination promotes better growth as it creates a much more even spread than single, spotlight-style lights. Distributed LED design means no light hotspots that can burn the macroalgae Less light spillage - IP64 water resistance means it can be placed very close to water - reducing the growth of nuisance algae elsewhere Two focused wavelength bands (455-460nm and 620-670nm) for maximum algae photosynthesis Covers a refugium area up to 18"x24" Plugs directly into DC24 connection on an EnergyBar832 or a 1Link module. Dimensions: 8.7" x 6.1" x 1.4" (light panel itself less than 1" high) Works with any Apex model, including the Apex Classic family. Operates standalone, without an Apex, with the purchase of an optionally available power supply. Mounts using the optionally available, flexible gooseneck, with one of two clamp styles What's Included GRO LED Light Flexible gooseneck mount Flat clamp mounting bracket Power supply is NOT included - You will need the Neptune PS-DC24 (Power Supply for 24V Devices) if you wish to operate this as a stand-alone unit.

    Neptune ORP Probe

    In Stock

Neptune ORP Probe Overview Neptune now offers both the ORP and pH probes in a double-junction construction for the Apex controller - these probes are built so they hold calibration longer and have a longer lifespan than single-junction probes.

Neptune Apex DOS Quiet Drive Dosing Pump

    In Stock

Neptune Apex DOS Quiet Drive Dosing Pump Overview The DOS is a multi-purpose Dosing and Fluid Metering System. The DOS connects to any Apex via its 1Link connection. The true versatility and functionality of the DOS comes to life via the software wizards built into Apex Fusion. This takes dosing to a whole new level in terms of ease of use as well as functionality when compared to standalone dosing systems because the DOS is part of your Apex ecosystem. Not only can you integrate it into other operations and devices you have configured, but we also will be continuing to expand on its capabilities as time goes on via software updates to Apex Fusion. Two Part Dosing Made Easy! The #1 reason people purchase a dosing system for their aquariums is for consistent and easy dosing of 2-part solutions (calcium and alkalinity) to their reef tanks. The DOS wizards in Apex Fusion take this to the next level by integrating a feedback loop from your water testing to make suggestions to fine tune the amount you dose each day. Simply put in your tank size and after a few days of entering testing results, it will help you refine your dosing amounts for the demand of your particular aquarium. No more guessing. No more fooling with the timings. Water Changes Hate doing water changes- everyone does - so they never get done as often as they should. Not only that, water changes are disruptive to the stability of your system since all of that change is happening at once. With the DOS all you do is place your empty vessel and your fresh stock of saltwater under your stand. Then, with the Apex Fusion wizard just tell it amount of water you want to change over what length of time and the hours of the day you want it to happen and it figures it all out for you. It will perform an automatic, continuous water change for you. It gets better. If you have our dual optical water sensing accessory Apex Fusion will send you an email or text message letting you know it is time to change out the jugs. Less time pumping, siphoning, and sloshing water and more time enjoying a great aquarium. Micro-Dosing of Elements If you need to dose tiny amounts of a particular solution, element or other fluid (like vodka dosing or Zeovit systems), the DOS is the perfect solution due to its precision controlled Quiet Drive motor. This ability to control pump movement in such a refined manner means that you can dose all the way down to 0.1ml at a time! Neptune DOS Construction Nearly all dosing systems on the market today use a standard, DC brush-driven motor. WhyBecause it is economical. This is the same motor you might find in your child's toy car. We thought that was just not adequate for an aquarium where you might have thousands of dollars invested. So, we spent over a year searching and testing pumps and motors and decided on using a pumps with industrial grade Quiet Drive motors in the DOS - the same type of motors used in high end robotics, 3D printing, and medical equipment. So, why does it matter? Precision - With the Quiet Drive motor pumps on the DOS, you have precise control each time you dose. And, you are guaranteed it will stay calibrated pretty much forever. On the other hand, with the standard DC motor pump found in most dosing systems, it cannot dose small quantities with ongoing accuracy and consistency. They also require ongoing calibration to account for the wear of the motor and the mechanisms. When pumps fall out of calibration, they dose either too much or too little - never a good thing considering an overdose to a tank will often be its demise. Variable Pump Speeds - One of the great features of the Quiet Drive motors on the DOS pumps is that they can be driven at various speeds depending on the purpose for which they are being used. For instance, dosing of vodka may require the slowest possible rotation while a water change use requires a much higher pump speed. The best part is that Apex Fusion wizards automatically select the proper speed based on the use and because of the Quiet Drive motor, accuracy is not compromised even at the higher speeds. Gearing and Drive Mechanism - The DOS uses a direct drive mechanism that will not slip, it will not strip, it will not grind to a halt. On the other hand, many other peristaltic dosing pumps used for aquariums have gears that can (and do) strip. Or, worse yet, some pumps work by using the friction of rubber rollers on the smooth metal motor shaft to make the pump spin. Foreign matter like salt creep, additives, etc. often get into the drive mechanisms of these pumps and make them fail or pump unknown amounts. Lifespan - The Quiet Drive motor in the DOS has a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 5000 hours. Other systems with brush-driven DC motor pumps have lifespans measured of just a few hundred hours of use. This means the pumps on the DOS may have up to as much as 12x the lifespan of others. Secure, Large Diameter Tubing Connections - Leak proof fittings are very important, not just because of the possibility of leaking fluid, but also because the leaking of air into a line would cause the pump not to meter the correct amounts. The pumps on the DOS have sure-fit compression fittings that are virtually leak-proof. Contrast this to other dosing systems on the market that still use dual-barbed fittings that commonly split the tubing and cause leakage of fluids or air. Larger size tubing means that your pump does not have to work nearly as hard - or stay on for longer cycles. The most popular dosing pumps on the market use tube fittings with the tiny diameter of 1.67mm. The DOS uses much larger tubing and fittings. In fact, at 3.33mm in diameter, the pump on the DOS can handle 4x the flow of the most common pump style on the market (pictured). This means that your pump (and motor) will run 1/4 the time to pump the same amount of fluid. Less run time means less wear on the pump mechanism, tubing and motor and extends your dosing pump's life. Larger diameter fittings also eliminate clogging - a common issue when dosing various elements like Calcium, Alkalinity, or Kalkwasser on smaller tubing pumps. Features Simplified Interface - Though nearly all interaction with the DOS will be done through the graphical user interface on Apex Fusion, there still is a need simplified user interface on the DOS itself. This is accomplished using a multicolor indicator for each pump to show its status as well a button to be used for priming the pump or for use during a calibration process.Replacement Parts - Changing out the peristaltic pump tubing on the DOS is a snap. Literally! All you need to do to change out the pump tubing is squeeze the pump head and remove. Then take out the tubing, replace with a new one, and snap it back on. No screws, no impossible snap on covers and no fussy loose rollers to mess with. And, because you are not changing out an entire pump head, your costs are lower as well!1Link Connection to your Apex - The DOS easily connects to your existing Apex System via a 1Link cable. All configuration and control of your DOS is done through the Apex Fusion interface on your phone, tablet, or computer from at home or anywhere in the world! And, because there are two AquaBus connections, you can daisy-chain up to 10 DOS systems together.Accessory Port - The DOS has an accessory port that will enable it to be connected to an upcoming optional accessories like the DDR - Dual DOS Reservoir. This accessory has two separate 2-liter cylinders for holding your additives. It also has optical sensors at the bottom that tell the Apex when it is time to refill and it then can send you an email or text alert. Another optional accessory will be a set of two optical level sensors you can install in the water change vessel (jug/Rubbermaid/brute) of your choice.Quiet Operation - We understand that aquariums are supposed to be serene. And noisy pumps often ruin that mood. So our engineering team has taken extensive steps both in how the pump operates as well as the enclosure design to ensure that the DOS system is one of (if not) the quietest dosing systems on the market for the fluid volumes it delivers.Stylish Yet Functional Design - The DOS was designed to compliment your aquarium - not just be a box that holds pumps. Its attractive enclosure has the pumps rotated at an outward angle to allow for the tubing to be routed with no chance of kinking, even when placed on a shelf. The DOS are also designed for stacking and they can be daisy-chained together via the AquaBus ports. Even when stacked, all tubing can be easily routed kink-free. For those that prefer a wall mount, the DOS has easy to use slots in the back so you can attach it to a wall or to the inside of your aquarium cabinet. With the exterior design, component selection, and software functionality, the DOS communicates how much total effort we have put into this product to raise the bar not only for dosing systems, but for premium aquarium products overall.Specifications Size: 11.75" x 8" x 8.75" Weight: 5 pounds Lift Height: 24 feet (minimum at MSL) Suction Height: 24 feet Flow Rate: Variable (0.1ml - 250ml/min) Power Requirement: 110/120V or 220/240V Requires: Apex, or Apex Jr with 1Link port to operate.

  • Neptune Liquid Level Sensor (LLS) 15 Inch. For all Apex aquarium controllers. Apex Fusion display showing Neptune LLS

Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 15 Inch

    1 review

    In Stock

Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 15 Inch Overview The Neptune LLS Sensors for your Apex controller allow for the measurement of water depth in inches or centimeters. The Liquid Level Sensor is available in four different sizes- 4", 15" 23" and 35" with each sensor having a special place in helping understand the water level in the sump, aquarium, reservoirs, and other liquid-holding containers. No longer do you need to physically look to see how much water level is above or below a specific point, but now simply open the Apex Fusion App and observe. How LLS from Neptune works The LLS sensor can connect to any available FMM port in your Apex System. Liquid will enter the plastic envelope around the thin material of the sensor. Once the liquid is in contact with the sensor material the LLS uses a patented resistive sensing technology to accurately and reliably measure the liquid level in a container. Included with each LLS sensor is a clip that allows for the mounting of the sensor to the side of the sump, aquarium or container. You can also mount the LLS sensor to a baffle inside the sump. Once calibrated the LLS is accurate to about two-tenths of an inch. Application This is the ideal sensor for your average containers used in and around aquarium. This will be the ideal sensor for measuring the return pump section of your sump. You will be able to make sure that the water level stays consistent and any drops or gains in water level can be carefully examined to make sure there are no changes to your salinity. Further, if, for example, the ATO reservoir is empty and the water level in the return pump area starts to fall, then if using a COR or Vectra pump (new/upcoming feature) you can turn the speed of the return pump down to prevent cavitation. Another great application of the 15" sensor is to place in your ATO reservoir. Especially if you have a reservoir you need to fill manually, often times you simply look at the reservoir while going out the door and know if it is enough water to cover the evaporation rate while you'll be gone. If not, you usually stop what you are doing and take care of it. Now, simply pull out your Apex Fusion App and know without even looking! Application The components in the head of the LLS are fully encapsulated in epoxy, but the LLS is not intended to be fully submerged. Care should be taken when selecting the proper length of LLS and installing it to ensure that the water level never exceeds the uppermost graduation mark.
