Push-Fit Plumbing, No Tools Required

Quick-connect fittings are what make an RO system easy to live with. Push the tube in until it seats, and the collet grips it; press the collet and pull to release. No clamps, no cement, and no reason to dread rearranging a run once the unit is installed.

What's in This Collection

  • Tee, Y and cross fittings — split a line to feed a second reservoir or an ATO.
  • Elbow and adapter fittings — thread-to-quick-connect for joining housings and canisters.
  • Inline and elbow ball valves — shut off a section without draining the whole system.
  • Bulkhead unions — pass a line cleanly through a reservoir lid or cabinet panel.
  • Reducers — step 1/4 inch up to 3/8 where a run needs it.

Push the tube fully home. A fitting that holds under no pressure but weeps under load is almost always a tube that stopped an eighth of an inch short of the seat. Cut square, push firmly until it bottoms out, then tug to confirm the collet has gripped. One item in this range is special order. Questions? Email sales@jlaquatics.com.

J&L Aquatics was formed in December 1997

Our business was started from our love of the aquarium hobby. We at J&L Aquatics felt that the Canadian aquarist should have the option to purchase top quality supplies, equipment and livestock other than the generally over priced local retail stores.
