Everything that runs between an air pump and an airstone. Flexible airline is stocked by the foot, in 8, 20 and 25 foot lengths and as a full roll, alongside rigid airline in 3/16 and 3/8 inch, cut to 36 inches. The fittings sit beside it: control valves for trimming a single line, two-way and multi-output gang valves for splitting one pump across several stones, spring check valves, T connectors, clip-on holders and a magnetic suction cup. Measure the run from pump to tank before choosing a length, and check the tubing diameter against the barb on your pump.

Tubing by the foot or by the roll

Flexible airline is sold cut to length for a single tank and on a full roll for a fish room or a rack of tanks. Silicone airline stays soft and is the easier option where the line has to bend tightly behind a cabinet. Rigid airline in 3/16 and 3/8 inch is used where the tube has to hold its shape - running down inside a tank, along a back wall, or into a sump without floating up.

Valves, splitters and connectors

Control valves trim the air going to one stone so a pump is not throttled at the outlet.
Gang valves split a single pump across two, three, four or five separate lines.
Check valves stop water siphoning back down the line if the pump stops.
T connectors branch a line where no adjustment is needed.

Fitting and tidying the line

Clip-on holders and a magnetic suction cup hold airline flat against the glass so it does not drift across the tank or lift a stone off the bottom. Cut tube ends square so they seat fully on a barb, and push the tube all the way home before adjusting a valve.

Airline in the aquarium trade runs to a common inside diameter, so tubing, valves and stones generally interchange. Larger pumps and rigid tubing are the exceptions, and those need the outlet size checked against the fitting before ordering.
