Leaves are the oldest water conditioner in the hobby. They release tannins gradually, tint the water a natural tea colour, and grow biofilm that shrimp and fry feed on.

Two options here: Aquarium Leaf Litter, made from jackfruit leaves at roughly 50 leaves per 1oz pack, for blackwater and biotope aquascapes; and Betta Catappa Leaves, which recreate a Betta's native habitat and gently condition the water.
