Product Description
Neptune Conductivity Probe
Neptune Conductivity Probe is a lab-grade replacement salinity and conductivity probe for compatible Neptune Apex aquarium controller systems.
Salinity and Conductivity Monitoring for Apex Systems
This probe allows compatible Apex systems to monitor salinity or conductivity so aquarium owners can track changes, view trends, and create alerts when readings move outside the desired range. It is especially useful for reef aquariums, saltwater systems, mixing stations, and advanced setups where salinity stability matters.
Neptune Conductivity Probe Features
- Lab-grade conductivity and salinity probe for compatible Neptune Apex systems
- Reads salinity in ppt when used with compatible Apex hardware
- Reads conductivity ranges through the PM2 module
- Useful for monitoring reef aquarium salinity stability
- Can be used as a replacement probe or to add salinity monitoring to another compatible system
- 10 ft cable provides flexible placement around the sump or aquarium
- MiniDIN 4 connector for compatible Neptune salinity or conductivity ports
Conductivity Probe Specifications
- Product type: Conductivity and salinity probe
- Probe grade: Lab grade
- Measurement use: Salinity and conductivity monitoring
- J&L listed range: 0 to 999 uS/cm or 0 to 99.9 mS/cm
- Cable length: 10 ft
- Connector: MiniDIN 4
- Compatible module use: Apex salinity port or PM2 module where supported
- Calibration solution: Sold separately
Compatibility and Use Notes
Use this probe only with compatible Neptune Apex salinity or conductivity hardware. Salinity readings are sensitive to calibration, temperature compensation, bubbles, microbubbles, probe placement, and electrical interference, so proper setup and calibration are important for stable readings.
Setup Directions
Connect the probe to the compatible Apex salinity or conductivity port, calibrate it with the correct Neptune conductivity or salinity calibration solution, and place it in a stable high-flow area where bubbles and salt creep are minimized. Allow readings to stabilize before setting alerts or using the value for aquarium decisions.
