Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 4 Inch
Overview
The Neptune LLS Sensors for your Apex controller allow for the measurement of water depth in inches or centimeters.
The Liquid Level Sensor is available in four different sizes- 4", 15" 23" and 35" with each sensor having a special place in helping understand the water level in the sump, aquarium, reservoirs, and other liquid-holding containers.
No longer do you need to physically look to see how much water level is above or below a specific point, but now simply open the Apex Fusion App and observe.
How LLS from Neptune works
The LLS sensor can connect to any available FMM port in your Apex System. Liquid will enter the plastic envelope around the thin material of the sensor. Once the liquid is in contact with the sensor material the LLS uses a patented resistive sensing technology to accurately and reliably measure the liquid level in a container. Included with each LLS sensor is a clip that allows for the mounting of the sensor to the side of the sump, aquarium or container. You can also mount the LLS sensor to a baffle inside the sump. Once calibrated the LLS is accurate to about two-tenths of an inch.
Application
The 4" LLS is the smallest of the four sensor offerings. It is the perfect fit for small reservoirs for small sumps, ATO reservoirs and additive containers. The smallest LLS can be a great solution to double check that liquid additions of your additives match your dosing solution over a period of time. For example, if you dosed 250 mL additives over two weeks and you know each inch is 100 mL, then the additive reservoir liquid level would have decreased exactly by 2.5".
Application
The components in the head of the LLS are fully encapsulated in epoxy, but the LLS is not intended to be fully submerged. Care should be taken when selecting the proper length of LLS and installing it to ensure that the water level never exceeds the uppermost graduation mark.

Ecotech Versa VXF-1 4 Pack Dosing Pumps
Overview
The Versa is a specially designed aquarium peristaltic pump from EcoTech Marine. Much more than a traditional "dosing" pump, the Versa is extremely precise, robust, and versatile.
The Versa excels in many precision aquarium pump applications, including; dosing, auto top off (ATO), automated water changes, and reactor feeding.

A defining characteristic of Mobius is packaging all this capability in a way that makes programming and control intuitive, quick, and painless.
Versa Dosing Pump Modes
Continuous Mode sets a dosing rate (volume/min) that runs when the pump is powered. Continuous mode is an always-operating dosing mode and needs to be controlled by external means (controller, timer, float switch). Continuous Mode Use Case- Using the Versa as part of an auto top off setup would be a continuous mode use case. This configuration involves paring a Versa running continuous mode with a float switch that activates when water levels drop. A good value for flow rate, in this case, is mainly dependent on the size of the tank and the differential between high and low positions on the float switch. (A substantial required volumetric change will most likely benefit from a higher dispense rate.)
Manual Mode allows the selection of a dosing volume and duration. The dosing pump dispenses that volume at a rate consistent with the total volume desired. The rate can be set by time start and stop and a total dose volume, in which case the pump determines the appropriate dose rate. Multiple periods can be set (up to 30). The Catch-Up toggle, when engaged, allows the Versa to make up a dosing difference if the pump is shut down or is interrupted for some time. Catch-Up only doses missed volume up to the same days set total. It will not attempt to make up multiple days - worth of dosing. Manual mode use case - This mode is an excellent option for replacing an existing dosing schedule. An advantage over current dosing pumps includes dosing the planned daily volume continuously over a more appropriate time period as opposed to fixed-rate dosing, which runs at the same rate until the total volume is complete (discreet). Discreet dosing points can also be created if that is the user's preference. Dosing additives or food continuously over long periods may be a preferred dosing solution as it will not cause sudden changes in aquarium chemical parameters that may occur if single dosing events are utilized. When setting up the Versa to dose, three modes can be selected. PG. 11 Features, pricing and specifications subject to change.
Auto mode schedules dosing specific to what additive or solution is dosed. This mode capitalizes on standard dosing practices and knowing water parameter changes in a reef tank based on light cycle and inhabitant biological activity. The dosing pump will not determine how much to dose (that requires testing and tuning). It will, however, schedule dosing around the salt or additive solution selected and best practices associated with dosing that particular salts or additives. Examples Include: Magnesium morning, Calcium afternoon, ALK Buffer night time. Trace Elements dosed during or shortly before the brightest part of the scheduled photoperiod. Calcium Reactor - doses a higher ratio of daytime volume to night time volume to mitigate pH swings. Kalkwasser - doses higher ratio of nighttime volume to day time volume to mitigate pH swings. Adaptive ATO - after a few refill cycles, pump learns the approximate rate of evaporation and performs continuous top off - evaporation rate "measured" once a week to account for seasonal evaporation changes, resulting in much more stable salinity and sumps water level (especially useful for sumpless nano tanks) Auto mode use case is an ideal solution for using Versa pumps for all your aquarium dosing and top off activities. Choose the purpose or additive and then tune the dosing - or set to your current expected volumetric requirements, and this mode handles the rest.

What is Mobius
Mobius is EcoTech's new equipment control app. Free for download from your favorite iOS or Android app store (available at the time of Versa public launch), Mobius turns your smart device into the control center for your EcoTech equipment. Simple is an understatement. In less than five minutes, you can be up and running. By using app control as the interface for programming the Versa - complex programming is immediately simplified by using the power and simplicity of your existing smart device. App control removes the need to access a control panel and cycle through options and settings with a cumbersome onboard interface and hard to press buttons. Wrasses are prone to jumping from the aquarium when startled or excited so we recommend a secure lid. They feel most secure when there is plenty of live rock to hide in, as well as open space for swimming. Most species may be kept in pairs or harems as long as they are added together or females first. They do not appreciate living with other species of wrasse, so any aquarium with several species must be large enough and the most peaceful species added first.They should be fed two to three times a day plenty of high quality meaty items, frozen Mysis shrimp, krill, chopped seafood, marine algae and Spirulina.These wrasses have active personalities and appreciate plenty of rockwork as well as open space to swim. They may eat small invertebrates, especially shrimp, but do not bother corals or anemones. Due to their relatively shy demeanor they should not be kept with aggressive tank mates. They have very small mouths and may be difficult to feed, so frequent feedings of a wide variety of foods should be offered thorough the day. We only recommend this species for experienced aquarists. They are coral safe, but larger individuals may attack small invertebrates such as shrimp, snails, urchins, worms, bivalves and serpent stars.br />At night time or when threatened these wrasses will dive into the sand for protection. They can even swim under the sand to avoid predators. It is not uncommon to find the wrasse laying on top of the sand to rest during the day. A fine sand bed of at least 2-3 inches will help them feel secure. Rocks should be placed on the aquarium glass and sand poured around them to eliminate the danger of a cave-in when the wrasse dives in.The beautiful Green Pencil wrasse is bright pink with a gold eye when young, but mature males changes to a stunning emerald green when mature. A sapphire blue stripe runs from its nose to its tail; from its gill cover to its tail is also an electric yellow stripe. Along its back is an orange stripe, its belly is a lighter aqua color, and a wide black bar edges its caudal fin. It is also known as the Smalltail and Blue Stripe wrasse. It grows to 4 inches and needs an aquarium of at least 70 gallons.

Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic Catalyst - 5 Pack
Overview
The Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic-Blocks efficiently removes nitrates from fresh and marine aquariums. This proprietary technology is specifically designed to stimulate the growth of anaerobic bacteria which completes the nitrification cycle essentially breaking down nitrates into the form of nitrogen gas.
The Nano-Ceramic beads in the Anaerobic Blocks are specially treated to excel at establishing anaerobic heterotrophic bacteria which strives in anoxic environments. The porous structure is the ideal living condition and environment for bacterial colonies, and will not decompose or become brittle.
Each package contains 5 catalysts.How To Use
Place directly in the sump, stack two Anaerobic Blocks on top of each other, and place a Denitrification Catalyst in between the blocks as illustrated above.
The Denitrification Catalyst should be replaced every two months. The Anaerobic-Block should be cleaned or replaced every six months for optimal results. However, it is suggested to only clean or replace half of the Anaerobic-Block so that bacterial colonies remain and established themselves on the new or recently cleaned blocks.

Overview
This is far from your typical strip LED! The Blade maximizes color and efficiency, incorporating exclusive EdgeField Optics to deliver even PAR, smooth color mixing, exceptional 95 degree spread, and a natural shimmer effect in your aquarium. Its wide angle and modular cluster LEDs allow light to wrap around high points in your tank to provide a smooth blanket of illumination with minimal shadowing.
When you combine 3 or more Blade strips together, the result is shadow elimination and even light distribution comparable to traditional T5 fixtures, but with greater efficiency and at a fraction of the cost!
You can also use the Blade with any existing light fixtures as supplemental or fill lighting to enhance light coverage and reduce hotspots.
Choose your color with AI Coral Glow Blade LED
The Coral Glow model features a LED mix that maximizes spectral peaks in the lower range of blue and upper range of UV that showcase coral fluorescence. It's ideal as a supplemental source of "pop" that can be combined with a Blade Grow or used to augment your current lighting setup to make your aquarium truly glow. Peak performance is best achieved in a ratio of 1:2 Glow to Grow, but one of each is perfectly acceptable when less light is needed. Each AI Blade LED Strip includes roughly one light cluster group per foot of fixture length. Tight grouping and balanced diode placement contribute to the incredible balance and shimmer that the Blade platform delivers. The Blade Coral Glow includes the following 24 diodes per cluster group:

The AI Blade is designed for a myriad of mounting solutions to satisfy any system. Choose from a Tank Rest, Elevated Tank Rest, Hanging Kit, Hybrid Mount, or HMS Adapter Arm to find the perfect mounting solution for your set up.
Tank Rest - Included with all Blade lights up to 39" this low-profile mount sits directly on top of your tank and extends up to 4.5 inches on either side of the fixture.
Mounting Clips - Included with all Blade lights over 39", these clips are compatible with the AI HMS Single Arm Mount and HMS Hanging Kit rails.
Elevated Tank Rest - An attractive and sturdy tank mount for both rimmed or rimless tanks. The Elevated Tank Rest increases light spread and allows for easier access into the aquarium when compared to the standard Tank Rest.
Hanging Kit - Made from high-quality brushed aluminum with a black finish, the Hanging Kit provides an elegant solution for suspending your Blade above your aquarium. The Hanging Kit also allows you to mount 3, 4, or 6 light bars in parallel for increased coverage and streamlined aesthetics.

Easily Control Your AI Blade LED with Mobius or MyAI
The Blade LED can be wirelessly controlled via iOS and Android devices on either the MyAI or the Mobius app. With the app, you can customize your spectrum intensity and set custom schedules for each light, or just select from one of the in-app templates available. Both apps can be downloaded for free on Google Play and the App Store. Each Blade LED also includes onboard controls for cycling through spectrums.
