ADA Power Sand Advance M - 6 Liter
Overview
Power Sand Special will be switched to POWER SAND ADVANCE.
This product has more nutrients than POWER SAND BASIC, and on top of Bacter 100 and Clear Super, it contains BC powder (bamboo charcoal powder), which helps encourage the growth of plants.
Choose an appropriate granule size (Small, Medium, Large) based on depth of aquarium water in your tank. 2-liter and 6-liter bags are available.

Preparation and Use
Rinse well. Pre-soak several days or boil to speed sinking and reduce tannins. Expect temporary biofilm; it is normal and easily managed by cleanup crew. Use gel super glue or thread to attach plants; avoid wedging tightly against glass.
Water Chemistry and Compatibility
May slightly lower pH and soften water; amber tint is common early on. Excellent for blackwater and community setups. Use chemical filtration if you prefer less tint.

Mopani Wood has been sandblasted clean and is ready to be added to your terrarium.
For use in aquariums, remember all natural wood leaches tannins, which discolor water and reduce pH levels. To minimize this effect, soak wood in a separate container, and change water daily to remove excess tannins. The wood will be ready when the water color goes from dark brown to a very light.
Adding extra carbon to your aquarium filter can help remove any remaining discoloration.
