Three Pro-Max units are listed, at 25, 55 and 90 watts. That figure is the lamp wattage rather than a tank capacity, and it is the number the matching parts are listed against. Sizing a UV unit follows the flow rate passing through it as much as the volume of the system it serves.

Parts by family

• ProMax: replacement bulbs, quartz sleeves and protective sleeves at 25, 55 and 90 watts.
• QL: quartz sleeves at 15, 25 and 40 watts, protective sleeves for the QL-15 and QL-25, and overflow pipes for the QL-15, QL-25 and QL-40.
• Ballasts: one for ProMax 25 and 40 watts, one for ProMax 55 to 120 watts, and one for QL 15 to 40 watts.

The gasket and the O-ring are the exceptions, listed as fitting all models. Read the family name and the number from the unit itself rather than working from the model you remember buying. Silicone lubricant belongs with any of these jobs, since sleeves and O-rings seat more easily with it.
