HYDROS Control XP8 Energy Bar
Overview
The HYDROS Control XP8 is an eight outlet (120V AC) energy bar and controller hybrid specifically designed for equipment like heaters and return pumps which are critical to the life support of any aquarium system. Each of the individually controlled outlets is built into the HYDROS controller for the highest level of security. The Control XP8 has a built-in 60W universal voltage Meanwell power supply with a 14amp max power capacity and is designed to pass ETL/UL certification. Besides the clicking on and off of the controlled outlets, the XP8 is completely passively cooled and with its isolated power circuitry, the controller runs completely silent. Best of all, each of the eight outlets has individual power monitoring capabilities.
Besides being an overbuilt power strip, the Control XP8 is also a fully functioning HYDROS system controller capable of taking over intelligent decisions based on the status of other HYDROS Devices within the Collective. Hydros Triple Optical Level Sensor
Overview
The Triple Optical Water Level Sensor plugs directly into a Sense Port on a HYDROS device and does not require an additional power source.
3 Water Level Sensors Added Redundancy
The HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor can be used for a variety of aquarium applications, such as sensing when your tank needs to be topped off or detecting when a dosing container needs a refill. It plugs into any Sense Port on a HYDROS device (like the Control XS, X2, X4, X10, etc.) and does not require any additional power source. The HYDROS Water Level Sensor contains no moving parts that can fail. The optical eye is magnetically coupled with the magnet side measuring only 1/4" thick. It can be mounted to most clear, tinted, or painted surfaces up to 1/2" thick. The sensor operates in the daytime or complete darkness so it's safe for use hidden inside your aquarium stand or in the back chambers of an all-in-one aquarium. The sensors are easy to place, easy to move, and easy to clean.

The HYDROS Skimmer Sensor serves a very specific and important role: it prevents your protein skimmer from overflowing onto the floor or back into your sump.The way it works is easy: just place the sensor inside any protein skimmer collection cup up to 1/4" thick. There is a magnetic coupling that will sit on the outside of the skimmer cup to keep the sensor securely in place. Once the waste level in the collection cup rises to the point it makes contact with the sensor, it will tell HYDROS to turn the protein skimmer off to prevent overflowing. Your protein skimmer must be plugged into a HYDROS power source, like the Power 4 power strip or Smart Plug, for this sort of skimmer security to operate.The HYDROS Skimmer Sensor plugs into any HYDROS Sense Port and does not require any additional power supply. Return Pump: Measuring the flow of your aquarium's main return pump is an incredibly useful piece of information. The key benefit would be to have the Apex notify you the instant the flow stops for any reason - usually the result of a failed or faulty pump. Furthermore, an indication of a reduced flow rate could be used to determine that the pump or the lines are dirty or are becoming clogged with algae, debris, animals, or the growth of organisms inside your plumbing.Auxiliary pumps on reactors and the like: This is a very handy application for the FMM. Place a flow sensor on a device like a carbon/gfo/biopellet reactor and it serves many purposes. First off, you will know if your pump is not flowing correctly or failed altogether. Next, you can easily fine-tune the flow into the reactor by watching the dashboard tile on your Apex. Finally, you can know when the reactor is becoming clogged with detritus or possibly channeling has occurred by an alert on your Apex or by monitoring your dashboard. Put a flow sensor inline to your device, plug it in to the FMM, and see exactly the flow rate of the water (any aquarium fluid really) going through that sensor. The industrial-grade flow sensors use either a turbine or paddle-wheel mechanism (depending on the model) to measure the flow. It is important to note that the flow rate that will be reported back to you from the flow sensors will likely be far lower than you expect or what is printed on the pump label or documentation. This is due to head pressure loss from physical height differences, long runs, restrictions such as ball valves, fittings like elbows, tees, and reducers, and then finally the loc-line many use as the entry point into their tanks. As an example, a pump rated at 3200gph will likely be showing less than half that amount in nearly all applications.Four Ports: The FMK comes with three flow sensors but the FMM has a total of four ports. This means you have one port free to use for another purpose. Buy additional flow sensors (available also in 2" and 1/4" sizes) or choose from other options available and add even more functionality!Each Neptune FMK includes following items
1 - FMM (Fluid Monitoring Module) - is a module that connects to any Apex (Apex(2016), Apex Classic, Apex Lite, Apex Jr.) - via it's AquaBus port providing four multi-function monitoring ports that can be used for flow sensors, water-level sensors, leak detection sensors and possibly future products as well.
1 - 1" Flow Sensor - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. This sensor is most often used to measure the flow in the main return line of a standard-sized aquarium.
2 - 1/2" Flow Sensors - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. Two of these are included in the FMK. These sensors are perfect for attaching to devices such as media reactors, biopellet reactors, etc.
2 - 1" Unions - To connect your FS-100 Flow sensor, we have included in the FMK, two 1BSPT -> 1Slip PVC Unions. (North American markets only)
4 - 1/2" Adapters - To connect your two FS-50 Flow sensors, we have included in the FMK, two 1/2BSPT -> 1/2Slip PVC Adapters.(North American markets only)

The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve is a handy HYDROS Control 2 and Control 4 accessory that provides easy on/off RO or RO/DI water flow. You can connect the solenoid to your reverse osmosis filter and use it to top-off your tank if you don't have the room available for a separate ATO reservoir.The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve works in conjunction with a HYDROS aquarium controller and an optical or mechanical water level sensor. When the sensor detects the water level is low, it opens the valve to allow fresh RO or RO/DI water to flow through and top-off your tank or sump. When the sensor senses that the water level is replenished, it will tell the Control 2 or Control 4 to shut off power to the solenoid. This closes the valve to stop the flow of reverse osmosis water. The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve should be connected to the product line coming off your reverse osmosis system. It has 1/4" push-connect fittings to insert standard RO tubing quickly and easily.Instead of using the HYDROS DC Micro Pump as your ATO pump, you can use the HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve instead. The WAV is the first of a line of aquarium products from Neptune Systems that will use a completely new interface. While many in the aquarium world continue to embrace wireless technologies for interconnectivity, we have decided to go the other direction - a wire.

Overview
The Neptune Systems FS-50 Flow Sensor is designed to be used with the Flow Monitoring Module (FMM).
Usually used with aquarium accessories like reactors, carbon/GFO filters, etc., this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses BSPP threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC adapters with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 1/2PVC plumbing.

The HYDROS 2mL/min Dosing Pump is a simple and affordable pump for automating the addition of liquid supplements, trace elements, and two-part solutions to an aquarium.
Connect the power of the dosing pump to any simple timer or aquarium controller (Control XP8 or HYDROS WiFi Power Strip) to completely automate the dosing process. Each pump is capable of dosing a single solution.

All flow sensors come with schedule 80 PVC Unions, and have an 8' wire length to plug into your Hydros Sense Port. While no power supply is needed, a Hydros Control with an available Sense Port is required for operation.

Sense Port - 2 AvailableThe Sense Port is a new concept in aquarium parameter measurement. HYDROS devices include several Sense Ports. A Sense Port is a generic input port that can accept data from numerous different types of sensors.

Probe Port - 1 AvailableOne of the most remarkable ports on the HYDROS Control X3 is the Probe Port. You can connect an ORP or a pH probe to the Probe Port but, this is no ordinary pH input! The circuitry is based on an ultra-high-quality input chip specifically designed for these types of probes. Each pH input provides digital galvanic isolation from the rest of the system. Galvanic isolation prevents interference with other accessories connected to the system like motors and pumps. Digital Galvanic isolation preserves the accuracy of the measurement by converting the signal to a digital domain before crossing the isolation threshold.
Command Bus - 2 AvailableThe HYDROS Command Bus is used to power the Control as well as communicate with other HYDROS devices for the ultimate fail safe.
