Product Description
Reef Crest Part B - 1 Gallon Alkalinity Mix
Reef Crest Part B - 1 Gallon Alkalinity Mix is a pharmaceutical grade alkalinity supplement mix for reef aquariums, portioned to make 1 gallon of ready-to-dose Part B solution.
1 Gallon Alkalinity Mix for Reef Dosing
Part B is used to maintain alkalinity, which supports stable pH and healthy coral skeleton growth. It is designed to work as part of the Reef Crest 2-part system with Part A Calcium Mix, but it can also be used on its own when alkalinity requires adjustment.
Part B Alkalinity Mix Features
- Pharmaceutical grade alkalinity supplement mix.
- Makes 1 gallon of alkalinity aquarium supplement.
- Best used as part of the Reef Crest 2-part system with Part A.
- Can also be used alone for alkalinity maintenance.
- Helps support aquarium pH and proper growth of calcareous organisms.
- Budget-friendly dry mix format for customers who prefer to mix their own dosing solution.
Reef Aquarium Use Notes
Alkalinity should be tested regularly and kept as stable as possible. Dose Part A and Part B in equal amounts when using the full 2-part system, but add them at different times to avoid precipitation. Adjust the daily dose based on the aquarium's actual alkalinity demand.
Directions
Dissolve the entire contents of one pouch in a 1 gallon dosing container filled with pure water. Extensive mixing is normally required to fully dissolve the powder, and warming the container in water can help speed dissolution. Begin dosing at 2.5 ml per 10 gallons daily into an area of high flow. Test every few days and adjust the dose as needed.
What's Included
- 1 pouch of Reef Crest Part B - 1 Gallon Alkalinity Mix.
