Kalk Reactor Compatibility Notes
The IceCap Kalk Mixing Reactor - Small requires a compatible ATO system or dosing pump, calcium hydroxide kalkwasser powder, and a timer or controller, which are sold separately. The reactor is not submersible. The mixing motor is not intended for continuous operation and should be set to mix periodically. Use slow kalkwasser delivery and monitor pH, alkalinity, calcium, and overall reef stability.
Setting Up the IceCap Small Kalk Reactor
Connect the reactor to a freshwater reservoir using a compatible ATO unit or dosing pump, add kalkwasser powder through the quick-fill cap, and connect the mixer motor to a timer or controller for periodic mixing. Freshwater entering the reactor pushes saturated kalkwasser solution out to the aquarium. Replenish kalkwasser powder as needed, rinse the vessel during regular service, and inspect the mixer friction bands during maintenance.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
