Product Description
AquaForest AF90 Media Reactor
AquaForest AF90 Media Reactor is a compact universal fluidization reactor for marine aquariums, designed to run activated carbon, phosphate adsorbers, zeolites, and other suitable filtration media with efficient water contact.
AquaForest AF90 Reactor for Compact Marine Filtration
The AF90 is the smallest AquaForest AF media reactor, making it a strong choice for smaller reef systems, tight sump layouts, or aquariums that need controlled chemical filtration without taking up unnecessary space. Its sealed acrylic design allows the reactor to be placed inside the sump or externally when installed correctly.
AF90 Fluidized Media Reactor Features
- Universal fluidization reactor for activated carbon, phosphate adsorbents, zeolites, and other appropriate aquarium media.
- Smart-twist opening makes media replacement faster and more comfortable than traditional screw-top reactors.
- Easy-change media system helps simplify routine carbon, phosphate media, or zeolite maintenance.
- Adjustable sieve height allows the internal media chamber to be matched to the media volume being used.
- Internal sponges help keep media inside the reactor and reduce the chance of media escaping into the aquarium system.
- High-quality acrylic construction is resistant to scratches and discoloration.
- Leak-resistant design supports in-sump or external installation when properly plumbed and leak tested.

AF90 Sump and External Plumbing Notes
The AF90 requires a separate feed pump or manifold connection, sold separately. Match flow to the media being used rather than simply running the reactor as fast as possible. Carbon should tumble gently or remain evenly exposed depending on the media style, while phosphate media and zeolites should be adjusted according to their individual instructions.
