Product Description
AquaForest AF130 Media Reactor
AquaForest AF130 Media Reactor is a large-capacity universal fluidization reactor for marine aquariums, built for reef systems that need higher media volume for carbon, phosphate adsorbents, zeolites, or other suitable filtration media.
AquaForest AF130 Reactor for Large Marine Systems
The AF130 is the largest of these AquaForest AF reactor sizes, giving larger aquariums and high-demand reef systems more media capacity in a sealed acrylic reactor body. It is useful for aquariums with heavier nutrient load, larger water volume, or filtration plans that require more carbon, phosphate remover, zeolite media, or specialty filtration media at one time.
AF130 High-Capacity Reactor Features
- Large universal fluidization reactor for activated carbon, phosphate adsorbents, zeolites, and other compatible media.
- 5 Litre media capacity supports larger reef aquariums and higher-volume filtration needs.
- Smart-twist opening makes media replacement easier than traditional screw-down lids.
- Easy-change system helps reduce maintenance time when swapping media.
- Adjustable sieves allow the internal chamber to be set for different media amounts.
- Internal sponges help retain filter media and reduce media loss into the system.
- Scratch- and discoloration-resistant acrylic construction maintains a clean equipment appearance.
- Leak-resistant design supports in-sump or external installation when correctly plumbed and tested.

AF130 Large Reactor Application Notes
The AF130 requires a separate feed pump or manifold connection, sold separately. Because this reactor can hold a larger media volume, start conservatively with powerful media such as phosphate removers or zeolites and follow the media manufacturer’s dosage and flow instructions. This item may be listed as a special order item depending on availability.

- Connect the reactor to an appropriately sized feed pump or manifold line using suitable tubing and fittings.
