IceCap 50 PRO Hang On Back Turf Scrubber
Overview
Fight Algae with Algae with a HOB Turf Scrubber!
IceCap PRO Hang On Back (HOB) Turf Scrubbers use algae as a natural water filter to remove nitrate, phosphate, and other pollutants from your aquarium water. Rather than having algae grow uncontrolled inside your display tank, an algae scrubber allows you to grow algae in a controlled setting where it can be easily removed - thereby removing contaminants from your tank in the process.
This all-natural form of water filtration can reduce and even eliminate the need for water changes.
Best of all, the scrubber hangs right on the back of the aquarium, no sump or plumbing is required! Plug-and-play even comes with its own IceCap EVO feed pump.

How IceCap Turf Scrubber Works
IceCap HOB Turf Scrubber is designed to be placed directly rim of the aquarium with the included EVO 400 pump placed within the aquarium. The water going into the scrubber is trickled down onto a screen that is illuminated on both sides by a powerful field of LED lights. As algae begin to grow on the screen, it "scrubs" the aquarium water of excess nutrients, resulting in fewer algae growing inside the actual display tank. Once the screen is covered in algae, it can be "harvested" by removing a sizable portion, thereby removing the contaminants from the system.
How to Harvest Algae from your IceCap 50Pro Turf Scrubber
Remove the top and loosen the quick-release union on the side. Lift the pipe and algae screen out and run them underwater in the sink. Use a credit card or similar scraper to remove the buildup. Be careful not to remove all of the algae from the screen as this will slow growth when placed back into the system. Leave some algae behind to seed the next batch so that it can grow faster. Under normal circumstances, expect to harvest algae every 1-3 weeks.
When to Run Your Ice Cap Algae Scrubber
Many hobbyists prefer to run their algae scrubbers on a reverse daylight schedule to help stabilize the pH in their aquarium water. This can be accomplished by plugging the LED lights into a timer or aquarium controller and programming it for a 12-hour daily photoperiod that runs opposite of the daylight schedule of the display tank lighting.

Instructions
Rinse media before use. Media can be placed directly into the aquarium, reef sump, canister filter, wet/dry filter, or hang-on-back filter. The included bag helps keep media contained within the filter. For best results, seed the media with your choice of bacteria culture by soaking overnight before adding it to the aquarium. For optimal results, rinse the media with tank water and gently scrub the surface debris every 12 months. Replace media every 5 years or as needed. Add additional media to increase the biological capacity of a filter system. CAUTION - NEVER CLEAN/REPLACE MEDIA ALL AT ONCE
IceCap CO2 Absorbent Media - 1KG
Overview
Struggling with low pHFrustrated by slow coral growthWe've got the solution!
Introducing the IceCap CO2 Scrubber and CO2 Absorbent Media
It happens to all of us at some point during our reefing careers. You've to your alkalinity level right where you want it, but you're plagued by chronically low pH. If this sounds all too familiar, then rest assured you've come to the right place. There is a solution that is neither complicated nor expensive. All you'll need is a simple device called a CO2 Scrubber. It looks very similar to a media reactor, so the familiar form factor should put you at ease before you even begin.
The IceCap CO2 Scrubber, in particular, is an attractive and affordable option that is nearly universally compatible with any aquarium running a protein skimmer. The way it works is simple: you just attach the tubing that comes with the scrubber to the air intake on your skimmer. Then, you connect the other end to the CO2 scrubber and you're done. That's it! Now you'll be able to raise the pH of your aquarium and control carbon dioxide.
Features
Our user-friendly give you a visual cue when it's time to replace it: it changes color from white to pink! Once the color change is complete, you'll know it's time to replace the media (although you should still be checking your levels regularly with a pH test kit).
Our media isn't teeny-tiny like competitor products. We picked a perfectly pelletized size for minimal dust and maximum performance.
We've got nothing to hide. There's no secret recipe or proprietary blend. You should always know what you're putting into your tank, so that's why we put it on the label! Our media is a precise mixture of Calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) and Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH).
Our convenient size (1kg) or 2.2lbs makes sure you get exactly what you need.
It's essential to replace the media after it's exhausted. If exhausted and left to stand it will revert back to a white color. It will appear to be fresh but it is not usable anymore. Instructions
Fill your reactor with CO2 Absorbent Media
Connect the output of the reactor to the skimmer's intake
Monitor your pH and replace the media once it turns pink or if pH begins to drop.
How Often Do I Replace Media
Once the media has completely changed colors from white to pink, you'll want to take the old media out (it cannot be regenerated) and replace it with new media. In terms of frequency, it's going to vary from hobbyist-to-hobbyist for a variety of reasons, including the aquarium itself and the environment in which it is located (your home, office, etc.). But as a general rule of thumb, you'll want to be prepared to change the media every two weeks (14 days). We recommend always have extra media on hand. That way, you'll never be caught in a situation where the parameters you've worked hard to stabilize begin to shift.

Overview
The pH in a reef tank should be around 8.3 for optimal coral growth. If you're struggling to maintain pH or if your aquarium suffers from chronically low pH, connecting an IceCap CO2 scrubber to the air intake of your protein skimmer is a great way to increase and keep your pH level within ideal ranges.
Run This Simple Test to See if a CO2 Scrubber Will Help You
The Carbon Dioxide (CO2) level in your home or office may be contributing to the low pH level in your saltwater aquarium. A house full of people and pets affects the pH in your tank. In fact, it's usually the cause of low pH in a home aquarium. An experiment you can perform to find out if this is the culprit behind your low pH is to open up the windows and doors in your home for a day to let the excess CO2 escape. After 24 hours, test your aquarium's pH. If the pH level has risen, you can be pretty confident that the CO2 load in your home is high and that a CO2 scrubber will help. Since keeping the windows and doors of your home open all the time isn't an option for most people, a CO2 scrubber is an easy and affordable way to remove CO2 gas so that it doesn't suppress the pH of your aquarium water.
Installing is Super Easy
The IceCap CO2 Scrubber can be installed on just about any aquarium with a protein skimmer. Just connect the tubing from the air intake of your protein skimmer to the output side of the CO2 scrubber. You may be able to remove the silencer from your protein skimmer. Next, remove the lid of the scrubber and fill the reactor with IceCap Carbon Dioxide Adsorption Media (or your preferred CO2 absorbent media) and place it back inside the scrubber. Finally, put the lid back on the scrubber and tighten it. Test the pH level of your aquarium water hourly (or as frequently as possible) during the first few days of use. Once the pH level begins to drop (usually after 2-4 weeks), it's time to replace the media inside. Most carbon dioxide removal media changes colors once it's depleted, so you'll likely have a visual indicator as well to help you determine when it's time to swap it out.
Running a CO2 Scrubber Helps Raise and Maintain pH
The IceCap CO2 Scrubber will not only raise your pH by a couple of points, but it will also help maintain it at higher levels. Having low pH results in slower coral growth, so by boosting it with the IceCap CO2 scrubber, you'll be able to achieve faster growth and experience fewer pH swings. With your pH level stable, coral growth and nutrient uptake will increase. Calcium and magnesium consumption are also likely to increase as you raise the pH level, so be sure to continue testing your major water parameters along the way to ensure your reef flourishes.

Magnetic Aquarium Heater Mount
Overview
The IceCap Magnetic Heater Mount securely holds your aquarium heater(s) in place with strong magnets, preventing the possibility of the heater resting against equipment, causing it to overheat or worse, float out of the water and run dry.
The heater mount holds heaters up to 3/8in in diameter and slides into the circular cutouts. It gently holds the heater element while also providing valuable space between surfaces for proper heat dissipation. The magnetic mounts allow for easy removal and maintenance when necessary. They are also completely sealed on the wet and dry side, keeping the system 100% aquarium inhabitant safe!

How External IceCap Turf Scrubber Works
IceCap External Algae Scrubbers are designed to be placed outside and above the sump so that the water flowing through the unit can drain directly back into the sump. Water is fed into the scrubber by the included IceCap EVO water pump. The water going into the unit is trickled down onto a screen that is illuminated on both sides by a powerful field of LED lights. As algae begins to grow on the screen, it "scrubs" the aquarium water of excess nutrients, resulting in less algae growing inside the display tank. Once the screen is covered in algae, it can be "harvested" by removing a sizable portion, thereby removing the contaminants from the system.
How to Harvest Algae from your IceCap External Turf Scrubber

The IceCap Frag Transport Container is the perfect way to commute coral frags safely from one location to another. It is the ideal companion to bring with you on trips to your local fish store, frag swap, club meeting, or aquarium show!Hold Up to 8 Frags - Even If They Have Different Sized Plugs! The IceCap Transport Container is a water-tight container that holds up to 8 coral frags. Inside the container sits a round frag rack with 8 cut-outs to hold your frags. Each cut-out has a special membrane inside to lock your frags in place. In the center of the frag rack is a post with a handle on top so you can easily lift and lower the rack into the carrier without getting your hands wet. The post and flat-handle top also keep the rack from moving around inside the carrier. The rack itself does not rest on the bottom of the carrier. There are feet on the bottom so your plugs have space to slide in and stay put instead of getting pushed back up and out of the tray. The IceCap Coral Frag Transport Container has a screw-on gasket sealing lid to lock your corals safe inside so you won't have to ever worry about leaks. Each hole is numerically labeled so you can keep track of what type of coral is in each position. Another benefit of the membranes inside the plug holders is that they are able to accommodate a variety of different sized frag plugs. We have all had that experience of buying a coral that comes on a plug that won't fit in our frag rack. With these special membranes, you won't have that problem with the IceCap Coral Frag Transport Container. The IceCap Frag Transport Container is a Perfect Coral Dipping StationThe Coral Frag Transport Container is a versatile frag transport system. Not only can you safely bring corals with you when you travel, but the carrier itself lends itself perfectly for dipping and acclimating new corals once you get home. You can use the carrier to bathe and disinfect new corals with coral dip before introducing them to your aquarium. You can even quarantine an existing frag from your system inside the carrier to cleanse it if you suspect or observe pests or disease. What's Included Frag transport container Frag tray Specifications Dimensions: 4.84" (123mm) wide x 3.5" (88mm) high Volume; 0.28 Gallons / 1.05 Litres
IceCap Gravity ATO
Replenish Evaporated Water... with No Power!
Overview
The IceCap Gravity ATO automatically replaces evaporated water in freshwater and marine aquariums without the use of electricity.
Easy to Use
To use it, screw the base to the bottle, then mount it to tank rim. When the water level drops to reveal the shorter tube, the water in the bottle automatically flows into the tank do to the pressure difference.
Package Includes:
Gravity ATO Base
x3 Mounting Inserts for different rim sizes
500ml Bottle
Silicone Tubing
Installation
Select a suitable mounting insert for the tank's thickness and insert it into the groove on the Gravity ATO Base.
Cut the tubing to the proper length based on the desired water level. There should be a long tube and a short tube, both cut at a slant. Insert the two tubes onto the Gravity ATO Base.
Thread the bottle into the base and install it onto the rim of the fish tank.
Adjust water level as needed to ensure both tubes are in the water. Over time, the Gravity ATO will replenish evaporated water when the water level falls under the shorter tube.

Simplify & automate the addition of calcium hydroxide with the IceCap Kalk Mixer! The IceCap Kalk Mixer is a dedicated reactor for mixing calcium hydroxide (Kalkwasser) solution to ensure maximum concentration with each dose to your aquarium and eliminates the need for frequent manual mixing.A clever magnetic mixer means no more pesky powerheads to clean and replace frequently. The intelligent design makes maintenance a breeze and the slim profile allows for easy placement under your tank and integration with your existing ATO system.BenefitsUsing Kalkwasser to supplement the aquarium with calcium and carbonates is one of the most efficient and economic methods and has been used successfully on reef aquariums for many years. The Kalkwasser powder is relatively inexpensive, is super concentrated and can simply be mixed into your top-off water. Additionally, the elevated pH of the resulting kalkwasser solution and CO2 reducing properties help to maintain a more desirable and stable pH of 8.3 inside your tank. The use of the IceCap Kalk Mixer will ensure maximum concentration with each dose to your aquarium and reduce the need for frequent manual addition and mixing of the solution. How it WorksSimply connect the IceCap Kalk Mixer to any freshwater reservoir with the use of an Auto Top Off unit or dosing pump. Kalkwasser powder is then added to the mixing chamber via the handy quick-fill cap. The adjustable speed motor should then be attached to a timer or controller and set to periodically mix the solution inside the reactor a few times per day. When freshwater is pumped from your ATO reservoir into the reactor, the freshly mixed and highly concentrated Kalkwasser solution is pushed out and into your aquarium. When adding kalkwasser to any aquarium, it is best to use a pump with a slow flow rate. Due to the high pH of the solution, you must add kalkwasser slowly and in small amounts, typically multiple times per day. Most ATO systems on the market will fit the flow rate needs of the reactor very nicely because of the small and frequent dosages of freshwater. MaintenanceOnce every two weeks, the kalkwasser powder in the reactor will need to be replenished and thanks to the quick-fill cap, the process is painless and mess-free. The entire reactor vessel only needs to be rinsed out completely once per month to dispose of precipitates and make room for fresh Kalkwasser powder.Note: Kalk Mixer motor is not suitable for continuous use and should not be run constantly. Necessary ATO system, calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser), dosing pump and timer/controller are required and sold separately. Reactors are not submersible. Features Adjustable speed magnetic mixer Solid PVC and acrylic construction Compact profile easily fits under your tank Reactor vessel detaches from base for easy maintenance Push-fit tubing connectors Convenient quick-fill cap for mess free Kalkwasser addition Sealed airtight environment preserves solution potency Gravity drain design ensures reliable performance Specifications Footprint: 5.7" x 5.7" Body Diameter: 5" Height: 25" Holding Capacity: ~1gal Ideal for aquariums up to 100 gallons
