The Tunze RO Water Controller - 8555.000 is an automatic water level controller for reverse osmosis water collection containers, RO stations, freshwater storage tanks, and refill applications. It uses two sensors, a controller, a 12 V water valve, and a 12 V power supply to help automate filling control for purified water storage.
Tunze RO Water Controller for Storage Reservoirs
The RO Water Controller is designed to control water level in the collection container of a Tunze RO station, but it can also be used with other suitable water tanks or automatic refill setups. Depending on the installation, the included water valve can be replaced with Tunze switched socket outlet 3150.110 for mains-operated equipment.

Tunze RO Water Controller Setup Directions
- Install the controller only in a dry, protected location away from splashes and salt spray.
- Mount the two sensors in the RO reservoir or storage tank according to the desired high and low water levels.
- Connect the 12 V water valve and power supply according to the Tunze instructions.
- Before leaving the system unattended, run a complete fill test and confirm that the water valve stops filling at the correct level.
- If using switched socket outlet 3150.110 or a pump, confirm the wiring and controlled equipment are suitable for the application.
- Inspect the sensors, valve, tubing, and reservoir regularly for buildup, leaks, or incorrect positioning.
- Use an overflow-safe reservoir location and avoid installations where a malfunction could cause water damage.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
