Seatorch X-Power Smart DC Pump - 8000 is a high-output controllable brushless DC aquarium pump delivering up to 8000 L/h with a 5.5 m maximum head height for demanding freshwater and marine return or closed-loop systems, with WiFi app control, a full-colour LCD controller and 0-10V aquarium-controller compatibility.

The X-Power 8000 combines the highest output of these X-Power models with electronic speed control, allowing its 8000 L/h maximum capacity to be reduced when the aquarium does not require full output. Its 5.5 m maximum head also makes the model relevant where vertical rise and plumbing resistance are important factors in return-pump selection.

Marine Construction and MeanWell Power Supply

The X-Power 8000 uses an enclosed corrosion-resistant NdFeB neodymium magnetic impeller for saltwater compatibility. Unlike the lower-output DC1000 through DC6000 models, Seatorch specifies a MeanWell power supply for the DC8000. Quick couplers and unions are included to simplify disconnection when the pump requires inspection or cleaning.

Directions

Install the pump as a return or closed-loop circulation pump using plumbing appropriate for the required flow and head pressure. Connect the supplied controller and MeanWell power supply before selecting the required speed or pairing the system with the Seatorch Link App. Where external automation is desired, connect through a compatible 0-10V aquarium controller. Periodically disconnect the pump using the serviceable plumbing connections and clean the impeller and pump chamber.
