Seatorch X-Power Smart DC Pump - 4000 is a controllable brushless DC aquarium pump for freshwater and marine systems that delivers up to 4000 L/h with a maximum head height of 5.4 m. Designed for return-pump and closed-loop circulation applications, it combines local LCD control with WiFi app control through the Seatorch Link App.
Seatorch X-Power Smart DC Pump - 4000 Control and Flow Features
- Adjustable DC output: Variable pump speed allows return flow or closed-loop circulation to be tuned to the aquarium system rather than operating at one fixed output.
- Sine-Wave motor control: Sine-Wave technology reduces vibration and operational noise, with the X-Power series specified at noise levels close to 30 dB.
- 12 pre-programmed flow patterns: Built-in operating patterns expand the pump beyond constant-speed return duty for circulation and wave-making applications.
- WiFi and Seatorch Link App control: Wireless control provides access to flow adjustment, wave patterns, delayed startup and protection functions from a smartphone.
- 0-10V controller compatibility: The pump can integrate with compatible aquarium controllers that provide a 0-10V control port, including Neptune Apex systems, for advanced external programming.
LCD Controller and Intelligent Protection
The supplied controller uses an aluminium heat-sink backplate and a 2.4-inch full-colour LCD that displays pump operating status, flow rate, speed and power consumption. The X-Power control system also incorporates protective functions intended to respond to abnormal operating conditions.
- Dry-run protection: Built-in protection responds when the pump operates without adequate water.
- Low-water protection: The control system includes a power-off response for low water level conditions.
- Motor blockage protection: Stall shutdown responds when the pump cannot operate normally because of an obstruction.
- Anti-calcification mode: The Seatorch Link App includes anti-calcification functionality for long-term pump operation.
- Delayed startup: Start delay can be configured through the X-Power smart-control system.

Saltwater-Ready Pump Construction and Service Access
The enclosed impeller uses corrosion-resistant NdFeB neodymium magnets for saltwater operation. Quick couplers and unions are supplied with the 4000 to simplify plumbing connection and pump removal, while the pump can be used in either return-pump or closed-loop circulation configurations.
- Brushless DC Motor: The X-Power platform combines adjustable electronic control with an energy-efficient brushless motor design.
- NdFeB Impeller: Corrosion-resistant neodymium magnets are used in the enclosed impeller assembly for marine aquarium operation.
- Quick-Coupler Maintenance: Supplied quick couplers allow the pump to be disconnected from its plumbing more easily when service access is required.
- Freshwater or Marine Use: The X-Power series is designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems.

Directions
Install the pump as a return or closed-loop circulation pump using plumbing appropriate for the aquarium system and the supplied unions, barb adapters and quick couplers. Connect the pump to the supplied controller and power supply, then set the required output from the controller or connect through WiFi to the Seatorch Link App for app-based adjustment, flow patterns and protection settings. A compatible 0-10V aquarium controller can also be used when external control integration is required.

- Upon request, we will ship your dry goods as per your specifications (courier, airlines, on your account, etc.).

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
