Reef Octopus Classic Protein Skimmer (110-S)
The Reef Octopus Classic Protein Skimmer (110-S) is a compact in-sump protein skimmer for reef and saltwater aquariums where sump space is limited but strong waste removal is still required.
Compact Reef Octopus 110-S In-Sump Skimmer
The Classic 110-S is built for aquariums that need the performance of an internal skimmer in a smaller sump footprint. Its Aquatrance pinwheel pump, removable bubble plate and vented wedge valve output help produce stable foam while allowing quiet water return below the sump surface.
Classic 110-S Protein Skimmer Features
- Compact in-sump protein skimmer for marine aquariums.
- Designed for systems up to 130 gallons with light bioload.
- Aquatrance 1000s pinwheel pump produces fine air-water mixing.
- Removable turbulence-reducing bubble plate helps improve foam stability.
- Vented wedge valve output provides precise water level control.
- Cleaned water exits below the water surface for quieter operation.
- High-quality acrylic construction can be disassembled for cleaning.
- No feed pump required; the skimmer draws water directly from the sump.

Manufacturer guidance lists this model for up to 130 gallons with light bioload, 90 gallons with medium bioload and 60 gallons with heavy bioload. It is for in-sump use only and should be installed in a stable water-depth section for consistent operation.
