Product Description
Reef Crest R/O Barrel Flow Restrictor (200 GPD)
The Reef Crest R/O Barrel Flow Restrictor (200 GPD) is an inline barrel-style restrictor for reverse osmosis systems using a 200 GPD RO membrane.
Flow Control for 200 GPD RO Systems
This 200 GPD flow restrictor helps maintain the proper flow rate for compatible higher-output RO membranes. A correctly matched restrictor is important for membrane efficiency, waste-water control and long-term RO system performance.
200 GPD Barrel Restrictor Features
- Inline barrel-style restrictor for reverse osmosis systems.
- Matched for 200 GPD RO membrane setups.
- Helps ensure the correct flow rate for the membrane rating.
- Supports proper RO membrane flushing and system operation.
- Easy to install on compatible RO tubing.
- Useful for membrane upgrades, maintenance replacement or restoring proper RO function.
RO System Compatibility Notes
Use with RO systems running a 200 GPD membrane and compatible tubing. Best used where soft source water is available to help prevent internal scaling and premature failure.
Application Notes
Flow restrictors are not universal by output rating. Match the restrictor to the membrane capacity so the RO unit can maintain an appropriate production-to-waste ratio and avoid unnecessary stress on the membrane.
Directions
Shut off the water supply and relieve pressure before service. Install the restrictor on the RO reject/waste line in the correct orientation for the system. Turn the water back on, inspect for leaks and confirm the unit is producing water normally before using the output for aquarium top-off or salt mixing.
