Reef Crest Pump Cleaner - 700 Gram is a gentle citric acid blend for cleaning aquarium pumps, powerheads, impellers, skimmer parts and other equipment affected by mineral deposits, coralline algae and general buildup.
Pump Cleaner for Aquarium Equipment Maintenance
Over time, pumps and other aquarium equipment can lose performance as calcium deposits, coralline algae and debris build up on moving parts. Reef Crest Pump Cleaner helps dissolve stubborn deposits after soaking, making routine equipment maintenance easier and helping pumps run more smoothly.

- Will not harm pumps or other electrical equipment like harsher cleaning products may.
- Unused clean solution can be stored indefinitely.
- 650 grams of Pump Clean makes approximately 3.5 gallons of solution.
Equipment Cleaning Notes
Regular pump cleaning can improve flow, reduce drag on impellers and help extend the service life of aquarium equipment. Heavy coralline algae or thicker deposits may require a longer soak before brushing or rinsing.
Directions
Add 3/4 cup, or approximately 170 g / 6 oz, of Reef Crest Pump Clean to 1 gallon of RODI water and mix until fully dissolved. Use the solution with a squirt bottle and brush, or soak equipment for a couple of hours for thicker coralline algae and stubborn deposits. After cleaning, dispose of dirty solution and rinse equipment with RODI water before returning it to the aquarium.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
- The Affirm service charge does not apply to confirmed defective or warranty returns.
