Product Description
Reef Crest Aqua Weld (150 Gram)
Reef Crest Aqua Weld (150 Gram) is a reusable thermoplastic polymer for aquarium aquascaping, rockwork bonding, plastic repairs and general reef-safe DIY work.
Moldable Thermoplastic for Aquascaping
Aqua Weld starts as small white plastic beads that soften in hot water at approximately 60 C. Once heated, the beads become clear and flexible so they can be shaped around dry rock, frag plugs, broken plastic parts or other aquarium-safe materials. As the material cools, it hardens into a strong reusable plastic bond.
Aqua Weld 150 Gram Features
- Reusable thermoplastic beads for aquascaping and aquarium repairs.
- Softens in hot water and can be molded by hand once cooled enough to handle safely.
- Very strong once hard.
- Easy to shape with no sticky residue.
- Can be reheated and reshaped as required.
- Hardens in minutes underwater.
- Safe for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums when used as directed.
- Practical 150 gram size for smaller rockwork jobs, frag mounting support and general DIY fixes.
Aquarium Use Notes
Aqua Weld is useful anywhere a moldable support material is preferred over messy two-part epoxy. It can be used to help fuse dry rockscapes, secure pieces in place, fill small gaps and repair compatible plastic parts. For best strength, shape the softened material tightly around the surfaces being joined so it can grip as it cools.

Directions
Determine how much Aqua Weld is needed for the job. Heat water to approximately 60 C or just below boiling, then place the pellets in the hot water until they turn clear and soft, usually within 10-15 seconds. Remove the softened material with a utensil, allow it to cool enough to handle safely, then mold it around the pieces being joined. As it cools, the material hardens in place. Reheat to reshape if needed.
