The REEFER S-700 G3+ features 19 mm ultra-clear front glass, eurobracing with additional bottom reinforcement, replaceable cabinet panels, a slide-out control panel, and a dedicated auxiliary equipment area. Its enlarged central overflow, dual curved 25 mm returns, and high-precision ReefGate valve provide the water-management foundation for the included ReefMat-ready sump. It includes removable mechanical filtration, an adjustable skimmer chamber, and optional refugium-divider compatibility, allowing the filtration layout to be planned around the equipment selected for a larger reef.

• Two 225-micron mechanical filter bags: The included fine-mesh filters capture suspended debris entering the sump and can be removed for maintenance.
• Two media cups: The mechanical filtration section also includes two cups, allowing alternative filtration arrangements.
• ReefMat-ready compartment: The removable filtration assembly can be converted to compatible automatic fleece filtration without rebuilding the standard downflow plumbing.
• Optional ReefMat 1200: Red Sea pairs the corresponding MAX S-700 G3+ with the ReefMat 1200, providing an identified automatic filtration upgrade.
• Adjustable skimmer operating depth: The water level can be set between 21 and 27 cm (8.3-10.6 inches), allowing compatible skimmers to operate at their required depth.

Its long and deep aquarium requires careful lighting coverage and circulation planning, while the aluminum cabinet provides a dedicated location for compatible electronics and supporting hardware.

• Recommended return pump: Red Sea specifies one ReefRun G2 8000 for the corresponding MAX S-700 G3+ configuration. The pump is sold separately with this standard system.
• Lighting reference: Red Sea pairs the MAX S-700 with three ReefLED G2 170 fixtures. Customers can select suitable lighting for the 150 x 68 cm (59.1 x 26.8 inch) footprint and the needs of the intended coral species.
• Protein skimmer reference: Red Sea specifies an RSK DC 900 for the equivalent MAX package. Alternative skimmers should fit the sump and operate within its adjustable 21-27 cm (8.3-10.6 inch) skimmer depth.
• Water circulation: The corresponding MAX configuration includes two ReefWave 45 pumps. Separately selected wavemakers can supplement the dual returns and provide appropriate flow throughout the longer display.

• Red Sea aquariums are brought in and shipped on an as-ordered basis. The average turnaround time before shipping is approximately two business days, except where noted below.
• All shipments outside the Vancouver area are sent by trucking company with fully insured residential delivery and power tailgate service.
• Orders within British Columbia and, in some circumstances, Alberta may require an additional 5-10 business days for processing. Orders from Alberta and provinces farther east generally ship directly from the distributor in Ontario within two business days.

• Red Sea MAX S Series aquariums are always special order and generally require 3-6 weeks before shipping.

Directions

• Confirm that the installation location has appropriate floor support, access, and maintenance clearance for the filled aquarium, cabinet, water, equipment, and rockwork.
• Assemble and level the black aluminum-superstructure cabinet according to Red Sea's instructions. Arrange adequate assistance for lifting and positioning the large glass aquarium.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump, overflow, ReefGate valve, and supplied return plumbing with all fittings and seals correctly seated.
• Mount ReefControl Pro and connect the ATO digital level and temperature sensor and DC pump according to Red Sea's instructions. Provide a suitable freshwater reservoir.
• Arrange compatible controllers, power equipment, and dosing hardware on the slide-out control panel while maintaining access for servicing and safe cable routing.
• Install the selected return pump, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and circulation equipment. Set the skimmer chamber operating level within its adjustable 21-27 cm range to meet the skimmer's requirements.
• Follow Red Sea's initial-fill and leak-inspection instructions. Adjust the ReefGate valve gradually, allowing time for the overflow level to stabilize between changes.
• Perform a power-out test to confirm that the sump has sufficient spare capacity when the return pump stops.
• Maintain the filter bags, media cups, removable overflow combs, and ATO sensor. Establish biological filtration before introducing marine livestock.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
