• Confirm suitable floor support, freight access, and maintenance clearance for the large aquarium, cabinet, operating water volume, rockwork, and equipment before delivery.
• Assemble and level the black anodized aluminum cabinet according to Red Sea's instructions, then arrange appropriate lifting equipment and assistance to position the heavy eurobraced glass aquarium.
• Install the main REEF-SPEC sump, glass extension sump, central overflow, ReefGate valve, and dual return plumbing, ensuring that all seals and fittings are correctly installed.
• Decide whether the extension sump will operate as part of the circulating filtration system or independently as a freshwater reservoir, saltwater reservoir, or frag tank before completing the plumbing arrangement.
• Mount ReefControl Pro and connect the ReefControl ATO Module, digital level and temperature sensor, DC pump, tubing, tube holder, and siphon breaker following the manufacturer instructions.
• Arrange compatible electronic equipment on the slide-out control panel, maintaining safe cable routing and access for servicing.
• Install the selected return pumps, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and wavemakers. Adjust the skimmer chamber water level to meet the requirements of the chosen skimmer.
• Follow Red Sea's initial-fill and leak-inspection procedure. Tune ReefGate in small increments, allowing the overflow operating level to stabilize between adjustments.
• Perform a power-out test to confirm that the connected sump arrangement can accommodate water draining back from the aquarium when the return pumps stop.
• Maintain the mechanical filters, overflow combs, return outlets, and ATO sensor. If the extension is operated independently, maintain it according to its intended storage or livestock application.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
