• Choose an installation location with suitable structural support and adequate space for three-sided viewing, aquarium maintenance, cabinet servicing, and freight delivery.
• Assemble and level the white anodized aluminum cabinet according to Red Sea's instructions, then arrange appropriate lifting assistance for positioning the large eurobraced glass aquarium.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump, central overflow, ReefGate valve, and supplied dual return plumbing, ensuring that all fittings and seals are correctly seated.
• Mount ReefControl Pro and connect the included ReefControl ATO Module, digital level and temperature sensor, pump, tubing, and installation accessories following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Provide a suitable freshwater reservoir and arrange the ATO tubing so that the equipment remains accessible for regular inspection and refilling.
• Position compatible aquarium electronics on the slide-out control panel, keeping wiring and other equipment accessible for maintenance.
• Install the selected return pumps, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and wavemakers. Set the skimmer chamber operating depth according to the selected skimmer's requirements.
• Follow the manufacturer initial-fill procedure and inspect the plumbing for leaks. Adjust ReefGate in small increments and allow the overflow level to stabilize between adjustments.
• Perform a power-out test to ensure the sump has adequate reserve capacity when return circulation stops.
• Clean the mechanical filtration components, surface-skimming combs, return outlets, and ATO sensor as required. Establish biological filtration before adding marine livestock.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
