Directions

• Choose an installation location that allows access to both long viewing panels and the exposed end, with sufficient clearance for cabinet maintenance and safe movement around the aquarium.
• Assemble and level the white cabinet according to Red Sea's instructions, choosing the appropriate left- or right-side door configuration before positioning the aquarium.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump, ReefGate valve, overflow, and dual return plumbing, confirming that seals and fittings are correctly positioned.
• Install ReefControl Lite and the included ReefControl ATO Module, connecting the digital level and temperature sensor and DC top-off pump according to Red Sea's instructions.
• Provide a suitable freshwater reservoir and arrange top-off tubing so it remains accessible for inspection and maintenance.
• Install the selected return pump, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and wavemakers. Adjust the skimmer chamber water depth to the requirements of the chosen equipment.
• Follow Red Sea's initial-fill procedure and check all plumbing connections for leaks.
• Tune the ReefGate valve gradually and allow the overflow water level to stabilize after each adjustment.
• Perform a power-out test to ensure the sump has adequate reserve capacity when return circulation stops.
• Clean the filter bag, media cup, overflow combs, return outlets, and ATO sensor as required. Establish biological filtration before stocking the aquarium.
• Register the aquarium within 90 days of purchase to qualify for Red Sea's extended manufacturer warranty.
