Directions

• Choose an installation location capable of supporting the fully equipped aquarium, cabinet, water, rockwork, and filtration equipment. Confirm suitable floor support, delivery access, and maintenance clearance before assembly.
• Assemble and level the reinforced black cabinet, including the aluminum front supports, according to Red Sea's instructions. Arrange appropriate lifting equipment and sufficient assistance to position the large glass aquarium safely.
• Install the main REEF-SPEC sump, glass extension sump, overflow, ReefGate valve, and supplied downflow and return plumbing according to the manufacturer's assembly instructions.
• Mount the ReefControl Pro Controller and install the ReefControl ATO Module, including its digital level and temperature sensor, top-off pump, freshwater tubing, tube holder, and siphon breaker.
• Provide a suitable freshwater reservoir for the ATO system and arrange access for regular replenishment.
• Install the selected return pump configuration, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and circulation equipment. Adjust the skimmer chamber water depth to the requirements of the selected skimmer.
• Follow Red Sea's initial-fill procedure and inspect all plumbing connections for leaks before bringing the aquarium into normal operation.
• Adjust the ReefGate valve gradually after starting the return pump, allowing the overflow operating level to stabilize between adjustments.
• Perform a power-out test to confirm that the sump system can accommodate water draining from the display when circulation stops.
• Maintain the filter bags, media cups, removable overflow combs, return nozzles, and ATO level sensor to prevent debris buildup from affecting operation.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended structural warranty.
