Directions

• Choose an installation location with sufficient structural support for the fully equipped aquarium and its operating water volume. Allow suitable access behind and beside the cabinet for plumbing, electrical connections, and maintenance.
• Assemble and level the reinforced black cabinet according to Red Sea's installation instructions, including the front aluminum supports, before positioning the eurobraced glass aquarium. Arrange appropriate lifting assistance.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump, ReefGate valve, overflow, and supplied return plumbing, ensuring that seals and connections are correctly seated.
• Mount the ReefControl Pro Controller and connect the ATO Module, digital level and temperature sensor, and top-off pump following Red Sea's instructions.
• Place the ATO pump in a suitable freshwater reservoir and install the silicone tubing, tube holder, and siphon breaker according to the manufacturer's setup procedure.
• Install the selected return pump or pumps, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and circulation equipment. Set the adjustable skimmer chamber water level to the requirements of the selected skimmer.
• Follow the manufacturer's initial-fill procedure and inspect all downflow and return plumbing connections for leaks.
• Adjust the ReefGate valve gradually after circulation begins, allowing the overflow water level to stabilize between adjustments.
• Perform a power-out test to ensure the sump can accommodate water draining from the display when the return pump stops.
• Maintain the mechanical filtration components, removable overflow combs, return nozzles, and ATO sensor to prevent debris or deposits from affecting operation.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
