• Recommended return pump: Red Sea specifies one ReefRun G2 6000 in the equivalent MAX 425 G3+ configuration. It is purchased separately with this reef-ready system.
• Recommended lighting reference: The MAX 425 G3+ uses two ReefLED G2 115 fixtures. Customers may choose other compatible reef lighting according to coverage of the 120 x 60 cm (47.2 x 23.6 inch) display and the corals being maintained.
• Protein skimmer reference: Red Sea pairs the MAX version with an RSK DC 600. Alternative skimmers should be checked for chamber fitment and the adjustable 17-23 cm (6.7-9.1 inch) operating depth.
• Wavemaker planning: Separate circulation pumps can provide movement around rockwork and through coral colonies beyond the water returned from the sump.
• Freshwater top-off reservoir: Although the ATO Module is included, the system requires an appropriate freshwater supply for its pump and tubing.

• Red Sea aquariums are brought in and shipped on an as-ordered basis. The average turnaround time before shipping is approximately two business days, except where noted below.
• All shipments outside the Vancouver area are sent by trucking company with fully insured residential delivery and power tailgate service.
• Orders within British Columbia and, in some circumstances, Alberta may require an additional 5-10 business days for processing. Orders from Alberta and provinces farther east generally ship directly from the distributor in Ontario within two business days.
• For in-store pickup, select that option at checkout to avoid delivery charges. You will be notified when the aquarium arrives, usually within 5-10 business days.
• Red Sea MAX S Series aquariums are always special order and generally require 3-6 weeks before shipping.

Directions

• Assemble and level the reinforced white cabinet following Red Sea's installation manual before positioning the eurobraced glass aquarium. Arrange appropriate assistance for lifting and positioning the aquarium.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump and supplied drain and return plumbing, ensuring that all connections and seals are correctly positioned.
• Mount the ReefControl Pro Controller, install the ATO level and temperature sensor, and connect the top-off pump according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Provide a suitable freshwater reservoir and route the ATO tubing, tube holder, and siphon breaker as specified by Red Sea.
• Install the selected return pump or pumps, protein skimmer, lighting, heating, and additional circulation equipment. Adjust the skimmer chamber water level to suit the chosen skimmer.
• Follow Red Sea's initial-fill procedure and check the drain and return plumbing for leaks.
• Adjust the ReefGate valve gradually, allowing the overflow water level to stabilize after each adjustment.
• Perform a power-out test to confirm that the sump has sufficient capacity for water draining from the display when circulation stops.
• Clean the filter bags, media cups, overflow combs, return nozzles, and ATO level sensor during routine maintenance.
• Register the aquarium with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
