The Red Sea Reefer 200 G3+ - White Cabinet combines a 158 litre (41.7 US gallon) ultra-clear glass aquarium with a 42 litre (11.1 gallon) filtration sump, a reinforced white marine-spec cabinet, and built-in ReefControl Lite automation. This 200 litre (52.8 US gallon) reef-ready system provides a compact 60 cm (23.6 inch) aquarium length with an unusually generous 57.5 cm (22.6 inch) front-to-back depth for arranging rockwork, coral colonies, and open areas within the display.

The G3+ generation adds structural eurobracing and includes Red Sea's ReefControl Lite Controller and ReefControl ATO Module as standard equipment. A redesigned overflow with enlarged rectangular downflow, high-precision ReefGate valve, curved return outlet, and ReefMat-ready sump provide the water-management foundation for a custom reef. The white cabinet offers a brighter furniture-style appearance, while lighting, return pump, protein skimmer, and circulation equipment remain customer-selected.

ReefControl Lite Automation Comes Standard

The REEFER 200 G3+ includes ReefControl Lite and the ReefControl ATO Module, giving customers a connected automatic top-off system without having to purchase a separate controller. ReefGate Precision Drainage and Improved Water Flow

Water travels from the aquarium surface through a central overflow fitted with removable skimmer combs. The enlarged rectangular downflow and hydrodynamically optimized plumbing reduce turbulence and unnecessary restrictions, while Red Sea's ReefGate valve allows the flow into the sump to be adjusted for near-silent operation.

• High-precision ReefGate valve: Fine adjustments control the overflow operating level and help balance drainage with the selected return pump.
• Removable surface-skimming sections: The combs surrounding the overflow can be removed to clear deposits and debris that could restrict water entry.
• Improved pipe geometry: Red Sea replaces sharp 90-degree connectors with more gradual 45-degree bends in the compact G3+ plumbing arrangement, improving the efficiency of the water path.
• 25 mm curved return outlet: One curved return connection distributes water back into the aquarium and accommodates a separately selected compatible pump.
• Regulated and secondary drainage: The overflow includes a main controlled downpipe and secondary bypass for the system's operating water-management arrangement.

42 Litre REEF-SPEC Sump and Mechanical Filtration

The 42 litre (11.1 gallon) sump provides dedicated mechanical filtration, an adjustable-height skimmer chamber, and return circulation below the aquarium. Its removable filter compartment also allows an upgrade to compatible automated fleece filtration when the aquarist prefers an alternative to cleaning filter bags.

• 225-micron filter bag: One fine-mesh mechanical filter bag is included to collect suspended particles entering the sump.
• ReefMat-ready filtration section: The removable compartment can accommodate compatible Red Sea automatic roller filtration without redesigning the standard aquarium plumbing.
• Optional ReefMat 250: Red Sea uses the ReefMat 250 in the corresponding MAX 200 equipment package, providing a manufacturer-supported reference for an optional filtration upgrade.
• Adjustable skimmer chamber: The operating water depth can be set from 17 to 23 cm (6.7-9.1 inches) for compatible protein skimmers with different working-depth requirements.
• Bubble management: The sump directs water through a bubble-stripping path before it reaches the return pump chamber.

• Return pump pairing: Red Sea specifies one ReefRun G2 4000 for the MAX 200 configuration. The pump must be purchased separately for the standard reef-ready system.
• Reef lighting: Red Sea uses one ReefLED G2 115 in the MAX 200 package. Other suitable lighting may be selected according to coral needs and coverage of the 60 x 57.5 cm (23.6 x 22.6 inch) display.
• Skimmer selection: Choose a protein skimmer that fits the sump and operates at a water depth within the adjustable 17-23 cm (6.7-9.1 inch) range.
• Circulation beyond the return: Dedicated wavemakers may be used to direct flow around coral colonies and behind rockwork independently of the sump circulation.
• Freshwater supply: The ATO pump requires a suitable freshwater reservoir. Plan the reservoir location and top-off tubing before filling the cabinet with additional equipment.

• All shipments outside the Vancouver area are sent by trucking company with fully insured residential delivery and power tailgate service.
• Orders within British Columbia and, in some circumstances, Alberta may require an additional 5-10 business days for processing. Orders from Alberta and provinces farther east generally ship directly from the distributor in Ontario within two business days.

• Red Sea MAX S Series aquariums are always special order and generally require 3-6 weeks before shipping.

Directions

• Assemble and level the reinforced white cabinet according to Red Sea's installation instructions before placing the glass aquarium.
• Install the REEF-SPEC sump, ReefGate valve, overflow, and return pipework, ensuring that all connectors and seals are correctly positioned.
• Install the ReefControl Lite Controller and ATO Module, mounting the digital level and temperature sensor in the designated sump location and placing the top-off pump in a suitable freshwater reservoir.
• Connect the return pump and other essential aquarium equipment. Set the skimmer chamber water depth for the selected protein skimmer.
• Follow the manufacturer's initial-fill procedure and inspect the plumbing connections for leaks before operating the completed aquarium.
• Adjust the ReefGate valve gradually, allowing several minutes for the water level inside the overflow to stabilize after each adjustment.
• Perform a power-out test to confirm that the sump can accommodate water draining from the display when circulation stops.
• Maintain the mechanical filter bag, removable overflow combs, return outlet, and ATO sensor during regular aquarium servicing.
• Register the system with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase to qualify for the extended manufacturer warranty.
