The Nyos Quantum 120 Protein Skimmer is a compact high-performance in-sump skimmer for marine and reef aquariums up to 500 litres or 125 gallons. Built around the Quantum 1.0 pump, Nyos Hybrid Wheel impeller, Clear-View Reactor, Twister bubble plate, and flow-optimized Sinus body design, the Quantum 120 delivers strong organic waste removal in a smaller footprint while staying quiet, efficient, and easy to service.

Compatibility and Application Notes
The Nyos Quantum 120 Protein Skimmer is intended for in-sump use in saltwater aquariums and should be installed in a chamber with a stable operating water level. Skimmer sizing should account for true water volume, livestock load, feeding level, sump footprint, and available cup-removal clearance. During setup, allow time for break-in before making final adjustments, especially on new systems or after cleaning.

Directions for Use
Place the skimmer in a stable sump chamber, assemble the pump and bubble plate, connect the air intake, and ensure the collection cup is seated properly with the twist-lock seal. Start with conservative air and water settings while the skimmer breaks in, then adjust the water setting pipe and micro-adjustment screw gradually until the foam head reaches the desired height. Empty and clean the collection cup regularly, keep the neck clean for consistent foam production, and inspect the pump intake and air pathway during routine maintenance.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
