MarinLab ICP-OES Aquarium Water Test
MarinLab ICP-OES Aquarium Water Test is a mail-in laboratory water analysis kit for marine aquariums, giving reef keepers a detailed look at major, minor, trace, and potentially harmful elements in aquarium water.
Laboratory Testing for Marine Aquarium Water
This test is designed to take aquarium water analysis beyond standard hobby test kits. By sending a water sample to the laboratory, aquarists receive a detailed report that can help identify element deficiencies, elevated trace elements, contamination concerns, or imbalances that may affect coral health, fish health, and overall reef stability.
MarinLab ICP-OES Test Features
- Mail-in ICP-OES laboratory analysis for marine aquarium water
- Helps identify unwanted concentrations, shortages, or potentially harmful substances
- Useful for reef aquariums where trace element balance and water chemistry stability matter
- Can help guide supplementation, water-change decisions, and troubleshooting
- Provides a more detailed view of aquarium water composition than standard at-home testing
- Includes a unique test code for registering and retrieving results online
- Suitable for periodic monitoring or investigating unexplained aquarium issues

Aquarium Testing Notes
This test is most useful when results are compared against the aquarium's livestock needs, recent maintenance history, dosing routine, salt mix, and water-change schedule. Use the report as a decision-making tool rather than changing multiple parameters at once without a plan.
Sample Submission Directions
Rinse the test vial twice with the aquarium water intended for analysis before collecting the sample. Fill the vial, close it tightly, register the sample code online, complete the shipping envelope details, and mail the sample to the laboratory. Results are made available online after the sample is processed.
What's Included
- One aquarium water test vial
- Individual test code
- Shipping envelope for sending the sample to the laboratory
