It's a strainer

Does what it needs to do. Would be nice if it came apart to clean. Also please note that this does not slip directly onto 1.5" pipe. It is the same size as the pipe. You will need to purchase a coupler. I got my coupler from homehardware. No big deal but this info would have been nice to have in product description.
