The Klir Di-7 Fleece Filter - Version 2 is a high-flow drop-in automatic fleece filter designed to replace most 7 inch filter socks and provide cleaner mechanical filtration with less hands-on maintenance.
Klir Di-7 V2 High-Flow Fleece Filtration
The Di-7 V2 is built for larger compatible sock-tray sumps where higher flow capacity is needed. Instead of trapping waste in a reusable sock that must be rinsed every few days, the Klir uses a roll of 50-micron fleece. When the fleece loads with debris, the rising water level triggers the sensor and controller to advance a clean section, helping keep water moving through fresh mechanical media automatically.
Di-7 Fleece Filter Features
- Drop-in 7 inch sock replacement: Fits most compatible 7 inch filter sock chambers and helps eliminate routine sock washing.
- Automatic fleece advancement: The Version 2 smart controller and magnet-mount optical sensor advance new fleece as the used material becomes clogged.
- 50-micron polishing performance: Captures fine suspended particles to help produce clearer aquarium water and remove waste from the water column.
- 50-yard fleece roll: Includes a larger roll capacity than the Di-4 model for extended operation in suitable systems.
- Up to 1800 GPH capacity: Designed for higher sump flow rates with a manufacturer-listed capacity of up to 1800 gallons per hour per unit.
- Version 2 control upgrade: Uses the upgraded Klir V2 smart controller with triple optical magnet mount sensor technology listed for the Version 2 model.
- Removable lid with carbon insert: Helps manage noise and odour around the fleece filter chamber.
- Dual-unit capable: Can be expanded to dual units in compatible sump setups where additional mechanical filtration capacity is needed.

Di-7 Sump Compatibility Notes
The Klir Di-7 V2 is intended for sumps with a compatible 7 inch sock tray. The sump must be able to hold at least 1.5 inches of water above the sock tray and provide enough room below and above the tray for proper installation and service access. For sumps without sock trays, use the compatible Klir Di-7 Filter Bracket sold separately. Confirm chamber clearance, drain placement, top access, and flow rate before installing the unit.

Klir Di-7 Setup Directions
Remove the existing 7 inch filter sock and test-fit the Klir Di-7 V2 in the sock tray. Confirm that the body sits properly, the fleece can move freely, and the magnet-mount sensor is positioned to detect the rising water level. Connect the motor, sensor, controller, and power supply following the manufacturer instructions. Once running, monitor the first cycle to make sure water is passing through the fleece and the controller advances clean material correctly.

- We always make our best effort to ship your order via the carrier chosen during the check-out process; however, for some multi-piece shipments and/or remote destinations, we must reserve the right to use another carrier at our discretion (and without prior notice). - Upon request, we will ship your dry goods as per your specifications (courier, airlines, on your account, etc.).
- Quoted rates are the carriers live discounted shipping rates after adjusting for any/all shipping promotions.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items
- If you receive an item that is defective, not working, or dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us as soon as possible.
- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
- The Affirm service charge does not apply to confirmed defective or warranty returns.
