Sizing and Installation Notes for the JBJ Nano Arctica E-Chiller
The 20 Gallon Nano Arctica E-Chiller is intended for small aquariums and moderate cooling demands. Actual performance depends on room temperature, aquarium volume, lighting, pump heat, lid coverage, evaporation, stand ventilation, and the required temperature drop. Keep the chiller close to the aquarium, reduce unnecessary tubing length, minimize head pressure, and provide several inches of open airflow around the fan and heat sink. For larger systems, severe heat loads, or large temperature pull-downs, a compressor-based chiller may be more appropriate.
Directions
Place the chiller on a stable surface in a dry, well-ventilated location. Connect the included pump, 12mm tubing, and fittings so water circulates from the aquarium through the chiller and back to the system. Start water flow and inspect all connections for leaks before powering the chiller. Set the target temperature using the digital control panel and allow the aquarium to cool gradually. Keep the fan and heat sink area clear of dust and obstructions, and always disconnect power before cleaning or maintenance.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items
