Three Essential CO2 Functions in One Compact Diffuser
The Ista 3 in 1 Compact V CO2 Diffuser - Large combines a ceramic diffuser, bubble counter and one-way check valve in a single space-efficient aquarium component. Its transparent acrylic body allows the CO2 bubble rate to be observed clearly while the ceramic disc breaks the gas into fine bubbles for improved contact with the aquarium water.
The integrated stainless spring check valve helps protect the regulator and solenoid from water backsiphoning when the CO2 supply is switched off.

Compact V Large Compatibility/Notes
Use CO2-resistant tubing and a properly regulated pressurized CO2 source. The diffuser does not replace the regulator or needle valve required to control cylinder pressure and gas flow.
The ceramic must become completely saturated before producing its normal fine bubble pattern. Larger bubbles around the edge during initial use can be normal and should diminish after approximately 24 hours of soaking.
Ista Compact V Large Directions
Remove the upper cover and ceramic disc, fill the bubble-counter chamber with clean water and reinstall the ceramic and cover securely. Connect CO2-resistant tubing to the inlet and secure the diffuser low inside the aquarium using the suction cup.
Allow the ceramic to soak for approximately 24 hours before evaluating diffusion. Begin CO2 flow at a low rate and adjust it gradually while observing the bubble counter and a separate CO2 indicator.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
- The Affirm service charge does not apply to confirmed defective or warranty returns.
