The Hygger Sweeper Aquarium Clean Light - 5 Watt is a higher-output submersible UV-C aquarium clean light for helping reduce green water algae and free-floating microorganisms in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is recommended for aquariums from 13 to 40 gallons and is suited for users who want stronger UV-C support than the smaller 3 watt model.
Hygger 5 Watt Sweeper Clean Light Overview
This HG191 clean light uses a replaceable UV bulb, built-in timer, suction cup mounting, and 360 degree protective shield to support aquarium water clarity. The 5 watt model is appropriate for larger aquariums within the product range or systems where stronger sterilization support is desired. It can be used in Healthy Mode with the shield closed for direct placement in the aquarium or High Efficiency Mode with the shield opened inside a filter chamber where water is directed past the lamp.

5 Watt UV Clean Light Compatibility Notes
The Hygger Sweeper Aquarium Clean Light - 5 Watt should be installed and operated only as directed. Avoid direct exposure to the UV lamp, unplug the unit before handling, and make sure fish or invertebrates cannot enter or become trapped against the unit. UV-C treatment supports clearer water but does not replace proper filtration, water changes, or routine aquarium maintenance.

Using the Hygger 5 Watt Sweeper Clean Light
Attach the suction cups, mount the clean light in the selected aquarium or filter-compartment location, and confirm the shield position matches the intended operating mode. Select the timer duration, monitor the aquarium during initial use, and clean the quartz sleeve regularly so the UV light can work effectively. Replace the bulb as part of normal UV maintenance.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
