      Hygger Hydrometer

      The hygger aquarium hydrometer is accurate and reliable aquarium salinity tester.

      It delivers precise full-range salinity and specific gravity readings. This also includes a built-in base so you can rest the hydrometer on a counter top or other flat surface when taking salt readings.

      The salinity tester is best used with brackish and marine aquariums. and includes specific gravity and salinity PPT Scales

      The hydrometer supplies an optimal specific gravity/salinity range indicator and a bubble diffuser on water intake prevents micro-bubbles from forming on the needle.

      The salinity tester is made of transparent acrylic material, which is relatively hard and easy to read. Easy-to-Read Marine Hydrometer.

      • Specific Gravity Range: 1. 000-1. 030 (ppt value: 0-43.9 degrees)
      • Safe Area for Marine Aquariums: 1.020-1.023 (ppt value: 30.2-34.2 degrees)
      • Low Specific Gravity Area 1.000-1.019 (ppt value: 0- 28.9 degrees)
      • Higher Specific Gravity Area 1.024-1.030 (ppt value: 35.5-43.9 degrees).

      Using the Hygger Hydrometer

      • Insert the hydrometer into the tank or the fish pond until the plate spills. (slowly filling to prevent bubbles from attached to the pointer)
      • When the hydrometer is full, take out the hydrometer and place it on a horizontal surface.
      • Read the specific gravity according to the inner scale, and read out the salinity (PPT) according to the outside scale.
      • Rinse with clean freshwater after each use.
