The Hygger Gravel Vacuum - Large is a manual aquarium siphon cleaner for water changes, substrate cleaning, and debris removal in medium to large aquariums. Its higher 256 GPH flow and longer adjustable intake make it better suited for deeper tanks and larger maintenance jobs.
Hygger Large Gravel Vacuum Overview
This large HG013 gravel vacuum uses a hand-operated siphon ball, extension pipes, gravel cleaning tube, and duckbill debris head to handle several aquarium cleaning tasks with one tool. It helps remove fish waste, uneaten food, and detritus from gravel or bare-bottom areas while also draining water for routine water changes. The Hygger Gravel Vacuum - Large is intended for aquariums where the stronger flow and longer intake are appropriate. Use a suitable bucket or drain, secure the outlet hose before starting the siphon, and reduce the flow when cleaning around small fish, shrimp, fry, fine sand, or delicate plants.

Using the Hygger Large Gravel Vacuum
Assemble the intake length needed for the aquarium depth, place the outlet hose securely in a bucket or drain, and press the suction ball to start siphon flow. Move the intake through gravel to lift waste while leaving substrate behind, or use the duckbill head to target debris in corners. Rinse and dry the parts after each maintenance session.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
