The Hygger 9000 Gyre Aquarium Pump is the high-output HG070 cross-flow wavemaker for larger freshwater, saltwater, and reef aquariums. With 2380 GPH flow, five wave modes, adjustable frequency and output, and a wireless master/slave controller system, it provides broad gyre-style circulation for aquariums under 265 gallons.

This 25W model is designed for larger aquariums that need stronger cross-tank water movement. The longer pump body helps spread flow across a wider area, making it useful for reef aquariums, larger cichlid tanks, fish-only saltwater systems, and freshwater displays where waste can collect behind rock, wood, decor, or equipment. Multiple wave modes make it possible to choose steady circulation, pulsing motion, randomized movement, or gyre-style cross-flow depending on the aquarium layout.

9000 Gyre Pump Compatibility Notes
The Hygger 9000 Gyre Aquarium Pump produces strong flow and should be used in aquariums large enough for its output. Keep the pump fully submerged and the controller dry. Use care around loose sand, delicate corals, shrimp, fry, long-finned fish, and low-flow species. For large reef aquariums, aim the pump so the broad flow moves across the tank instead of blasting one coral or rock face directly.
Setting Up the Hygger 9000 Gyre Pump
Mount the pump securely with the magnetic base, connect the controller and DC adapter, and begin with a lower flow setting. Choose the wave mode based on the desired movement pattern, then increase output and frequency gradually while watching coral extension, fish behaviour, surface movement, and debris suspension. Clean the pump cage and blades regularly to maintain flow and reduce operating noise.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items
- If you receive an item that is defective, not working, or dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us as soon as possible.
- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
