Product Description
Hydros iV Pro Isolated Testing Vessel
The Hydros iV Pro Isolated Testing Vessel is a HYDROS Drive Port accessory designed to isolate aquarium water samples for more stable pH, ORP, conductivity, salinity, and automated alkalinity testing workflows. By separating the test sample from the main aquarium, the iV Pro helps reduce interference from aquarium equipment, turbulence, and mixed system conditions that can make sensitive readings less consistent.
HYDROS iV Pro Testing Vessel Overview
The iV Pro is built for reef keepers using the HYDROS ecosystem to improve automated testing and parameter monitoring. It provides a controlled testing chamber where probes and test samples can work away from the electrical and flow interference of the display or sump. This makes it especially useful with HYDROS Control X10-based testing layouts, isolated pH monitoring, ORP monitoring, conductivity or salinity readings, and automatic alkalinity testing configurations.
iV Pro Testing and Isolation Features
- Isolates the test sample from the aquarium for cleaner measurement conditions.
- Helps reduce electronic interference from other aquarium equipment.
- Supports isolated pH and conductivity readings when used with compatible probes and HYDROS equipment.
- Designed to support automatic alkalinity testing workflows.
- Mixes the test sample inside the vessel for more consistent automated testing.
- Features a stable tabletop base and can also be surface mounted.
- Directly powered by a HYDROS Drive Port.
- Includes a removable door, glass pH probe, calibration fluids, probe holders, acrylic rods, mounting hardware, mixing pill, and glass beaker.

iV Pro Compatibility and Application Notes
The Hydros iV Pro Isolated Testing Vessel is an accessory for compatible HYDROS testing and monitoring setups. It is especially well suited for Control X10-based automation, but the final configuration depends on the controller, probes, dosing pumps, and testing method being used. Dosing pumps, controller, and conductivity probe are sold separately and should be selected based on the intended testing application.
