Hydros CO2 Solenoid Valve
The Hydros CO2 Solenoid Valve is a HYDROS Drive Port accessory for electronically controlling carbon dioxide flow on aquarium equipment such as calcium reactors and freshwater planted tank CO2 systems. It connects to a compatible HYDROS controller Drive Port so CO2 flow can be switched on or off through the HYDROS app and control logic.
HYDROS CO2 Solenoid Valve Overview
This solenoid valve is intended for applications where controlled gas flow is important. In reef aquariums, it can be used with a calcium reactor setup where pH monitoring and controller logic help manage CO2 delivery to reactor media. In freshwater planted aquariums, it can support controlled CO2 injection when paired with the appropriate regulator and HYDROS equipment. Because it is powered through a Drive Port, it does not require a separate power supply for normal HYDROS operation.

CO2 Solenoid Compatibility Notes
The Hydros CO2 Solenoid Valve requires a compatible HYDROS controller with an available Drive Port. For pH-based calcium reactor control, the HYDROS system must also include compatible pH monitoring. This item is for carbon dioxide or oxygen gas control applications and should not be confused with the separate HYDROS DC Solenoid Water Valve used for RO or RO/DI water flow.
Using the HYDROS CO2 Solenoid Valve
Connect the solenoid valve to the appropriate CO2 system, plug the HYDROS connector into an available Drive Port, and configure the output in the HYDROS app. Test manual on/off operation before building automated pH-based rules, then monitor system behavior carefully during initial setup to confirm the valve opens and closes as expected.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items
- If you receive an item that is defective, not working, or dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us as soon as possible.
- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
