Hanna Marine pH Checker
The Hanna Marine pH Checker HI780 is a handheld colorimeter designed for measuring pH in saltwater aquariums from 6.3 to 8.6 pH. It provides a digital reading that removes the guesswork of judging subtle colour changes on traditional pH test kits.
HI780 Saltwater pH Testing
pH is an important stability parameter in marine aquariums, especially in reef systems where alkalinity, gas exchange, photosynthesis, and room CO2 can all influence daily pH patterns. The HI780 is designed specifically for marine pH testing and gives a quick digital result in a compact checker format.

Marine pH Testing Notes
pH naturally changes during the day in many aquariums, so compare readings taken at similar times for better trend tracking. Keep cuvettes clean and avoid testing errors caused by fingerprints, bubbles, or residue inside the glass.
Using the Hanna Marine pH Checker
Fill the cuvette with the saltwater sample, zero the checker, add the Marine pH reagent as directed, mix carefully, and read the pH value on the digital display. Use Hanna HI780-25 reagents for replacement testing.
