The Glass catfish is an insanely unique fish that allows us to see not only their skeleton but their organs too!
They are incredibly peaceful and make a great addition into a peaceful community tank. Like other catfish, Glass Catfish like to school together, so keeping them in groups is highly recommended, with a minimum of at least five. They often do not do well when kept solitary in a tank.
They like shaded areas of the aquarium, so plenty of foliage and hiding spots would make a perfect habitat for them.
Glass Catfish grow to a size of roughly 4”, so a tank of at least 30g or more would be suitable for a school of these fish. They like their temperatures between 75-80oF, a pH between 6.5-7.0, and a dKH of 8-12.They are omnivores and should be fed a diet of flake and frozen food
