Fluval 107 Canister Filter
The Fluval 107 Canister Filter is a compact external aquarium filter designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums from 10 to 30 US gallons / 40 to 130 L. As part of Fluval’s 07 Series, it delivers quiet, efficient, multi-stage filtration in a small cabinet-friendly footprint, making it an excellent upgrade from hang-on filtration for smaller aquariums that need cleaner presentation, improved media capacity, and dependable water movement.
Compact 07 Series Filtration for Smaller Aquariums
The 107 is the smallest model in the Fluval 07 Series, but it still uses the same core design language as the larger 207, 307, and 407 filters. Water enters through the intake, passes through the vertical pre-filter and foam stages, then moves through stacked media baskets before returning to the aquarium. This separates mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration into a controlled external canister layout that is easier to customize than many internal or hang-on filters.

Setting Up the Fluval 107 Canister Filter
Place the canister below the aquarium, install the included media in the recommended flow order, connect the intake and output assemblies, and use the primer to start water flow before plugging in the motor. Keep hosing runs as smooth and direct as possible, clean mechanical media regularly, and preserve biological media during maintenance by rinsing it gently in removed aquarium water rather than untreated tap water.

- We always make our best effort to ship your order via the carrier chosen during the check-out process; however, for some multi-piece shipments and/or remote destinations, we must reserve the right to use another carrier at our discretion (and without prior notice). - Upon request, we will ship your dry goods as per your specifications (courier, airlines, on your account, etc.).

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
