Product Description
ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System - 8 Gallon
ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System - 8 Gallon is a bulk concentrated two-part calcium and alkalinity refill system for larger reef aquariums, high-demand coral systems, and ongoing maintenance use. Once diluted, it provides an extended supply of B-Ionic for daily reef supplementation.
ESV B-Ionic 8 Gallon Bulk Concentrate for High-Demand Reefs
The 8 Gallon format is intended for reef keepers who dose B-Ionic regularly and need a larger supply for growing coral systems. It is especially useful for SPS-dominant aquariums, larger mixed reefs, service accounts, automated dosing reservoirs, and systems with steady calcium and alkalinity demand.
Balanced Reef Chemistry for Corals, Clams, and Coralline Algae
- Large-format concentrated two-part calcium and alkalinity system.
- Designed to be diluted with RO/DI or distilled water before dosing.
- Supports calcium and carbonate alkalinity levels required for calcification.
- Provides major, minor, and trace elements in ratios designed to duplicate synthetic seawater.
- Helps maintain ionic balance compared with unbalanced calcium and alkalinity additives.
- Cost-effective format for larger systems and frequent dosing routines.
8 Gallon B-Ionic Mixing and Reservoir Details
- Total prepared system size: 8 gallons after dilution.
- Format: Concentrated two-part refill system.

Preparing Bulk ESV B-Ionic for Dosing
Add RO/DI or distilled water to each component container according to the label before use. Allow the concentrate to dissolve completely, mixing intermittently and keeping the containers warm enough to bring any settled or solidified material back into solution. Do not dose undiluted concentrate. After preparation, start with 1 ml of each component per 4 gallons of aquarium capacity per day, dose the two parts separately in a high-flow area, and adjust gradually based on calcium and alkalinity testing.
What's Included
