Product Description
DVH All-in-One Biopellets (1000ml)
DVH All-in-One Biopellets (1000ml) provide a larger supply of advanced biodegradable biopellet media for reef aquariums and marine systems with ongoing nitrate-control needs. When fluidized correctly, the pellets support bacterial growth that consumes nitrate and phosphate and converts dissolved nutrients into removable biomass.
Larger All-in-One Supply for Ongoing Reactor Use
The 1000ml size is suited to larger aquariums, heavier feeding routines, or systems where biopellets are part of a continuous nutrient-management strategy. It gives reef keepers more media for initial loading, staged increases, and top-ups as the pellets are consumed over time.
Microporous Pellet Structure for Bacterial Colonization
- Advanced all-in-one biopellet media for marine and reef aquariums.
- Microporous pellet structure supports bacterial growth inside and outside the media.
- Helps reduce nitrate through biological bacterial processing.
- Uses phosphate as part of the nutrient conversion process, making regular NO3 and PO4 testing important.
- Can help support cleaner water and reduced nuisance algae pressure when used correctly.
- Made for use in a fluidized reactor with strong aeration and protein skimming.
1000ml Reef System Dosing and Maintenance Notes
- Container size: 1000ml.
- Media type: Advanced biodegradable polymer biopellets.
- Recommended dosage range: 35-150ml per 100L or 25 gallons of aquarium water.
- Startup period: Approximately 2-6 weeks for bacterial activity to become established.
- Best fit: Larger reef aquariums, marine systems, coral tanks, and long-term nutrient-control setups.
- Top-up interval: Add fresh pellets as the media volume decreases or testing shows nutrient rise.
Fluidized Reactor Operation for All-in-One Pellets
Add the pellets to a suitable fluidized biopellet reactor and adjust flow so the media tumbles steadily. Begin with a reduced amount and increase gradually, especially in established systems or aquariums with high nitrate. Route the reactor outlet close to the skimmer intake to help remove excess bacteria and improve gas exchange. Test nitrate and phosphate regularly, maintain strong aeration, and avoid sudden full-dose changes that could stress corals or reduce oxygen levels.
