The CO2 Cylinder/CO2 Regulator/Valve & Solenoid Package - 5lb combines a refillable aluminum CO2 cylinder with the Hygger HC003 regulator for controlled carbon dioxide delivery in freshwater planted aquariums. The compact 5lb cylinder provides a practical foundation for a pressurized CO2 system while the regulator integrates pressure monitoring flow adjustment bubble counting and automatic on/off control.

Planning a System Around the 5lb CO2 Package
This package supplies the cylinder pressure regulation and primary flow-control components required for a pressurized planted-aquarium CO2 system. Compatible CO2 tubing and a suitable diffuser or reactor are required to introduce the gas into the aquarium and are sold separately. A timer may also be added to automate the solenoid around the aquarium lighting schedule.
Setting Up the 5lb CO2 Cylinder Package
- Have the aluminum cylinder filled with aquarium-suitable carbon dioxide by an authorized filling location.
- Place the cylinder upright on a stable surface and keep the main cylinder valve closed.
- Confirm that the regulator connection and sealing surfaces are clean before securely attaching the regulator to the CGA320 cylinder valve.
- Connect compatible CO2 tubing and an appropriate aquarium diffuser or reactor.
- Fill the bubble counter as directed and confirm that the check valve is oriented correctly.
- Open the cylinder valve gradually and inspect every connection for leaks.
- Use the needle valve to begin with a low bubble rate and adjust the CO2 supply gradually while monitoring aquarium conditions.
- Connect the solenoid to a suitable timer when automated operation is desired.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items
- If you receive an item that is defective, not working, or dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us as soon as possible.
- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
