Clarisea SK-3000 G3 Automatic Fleece Filter is an automatic roller fleece filter for freshwater, marine, and reef aquariums that need cleaner water with less filter sock maintenance. It continuously removes suspended particles such as detritus, food, microalgae, organic waste, and fine debris before they break down in the aquarium system.

The SK-3000 G3 replaces traditional filter socks with an automatic fleece roll system that advances clean fleece as the old section becomes clogged. This keeps mechanical filtration working consistently, helps polish the water column, and reduces the routine chore of washing or changing socks every few days.

The SK-3000 G3 includes a universal inlet connection designed for 32mm, 40mm, and 1" pipework, with a slip-fit socket required for 40mm connection. It can be installed in a sump using the hang-on bracket or positioned to suit the sump layout when properly supported. The water bypass and fail-safe overflow features are designed to help manage water movement if the fleece becomes restricted or the unit requires attention.

SK-3000 G3 Installation and Use Directions

Install the Clarisea SK-3000 G3 in the sump where it can receive drain or pump-fed water within the recommended flow range. Set the unit so the submerged depth is between 5cm and 20cm, with approximately 10cm of water depth preferred for longer fleece life. Connect the inlet plumbing securely, load the fleece according to the quick-start guide, and confirm the float sensor, motor, and smart controller operate correctly before leaving the system unattended. Check the first roll more frequently during the initial clean-up period, as dirty systems can use fleece faster until trapped detritus is removed.
