Brightwell Aquatics Zooplanktos-M Zooplankton - 500ml is a concentrated marine zooplankton suspension for reef aquariums. It provides copepod-based zooplankton in the 500 to 1,000 micron range for fishes, stony corals, clams, tube worms, larval crustaceans, juvenile fishes, and other filter feeders.
Brightwell Zooplanktos-M 500 to 1000 Micron Zooplankton for Reef Feeding
Zooplanktos-M is sized for many larger-polyp feeding responses and planktivorous marine animals. Its copepod-based suspension provides amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and carotenoid pigments, making it a useful rotation food for reef aquariums with corals, clams, small fishes, and microinvertebrate predators.

- Provides marine zooplankton ranging from 500 to 1,000 microns.
- Ideally sized for many stony corals, clams, tube worms, larval crustaceans, juvenile fishes, and adult planktivorous fishes.
- Useful for anthias, basslets, pseudochromids, dartfish, chromis, mandarins, some gobies, dwarf wrasses, and other suitable microinvertebrate feeders.
- Can be rotated with other planktonic suspensions to broaden particle-size variety.
- Supplemented with a proprietary amino acid to aid coloration of invertebrates and fishes.
- Does not require refrigeration, though cool shaded storage or refrigeration helps maximize shelf life.
Zooplanktos-M Feeding Instructions for Reef Aquariums
Shake well before use. Turn protein skimming and mechanical filtration off before feeding and allow 10 to 15 minutes after feeding before restarting filtration. Target feeding is recommended. Pour 5 ml into a small clean container, draw a portion into a syringe, pipette, dropper, or rigid tubing, and slowly discharge 2 to 4 inches upstream of the target organism. For broadcast feeding, add up to 5 ml per 50 US gallons daily in an area of rapid water movement during the first four weeks, then increase gradually only if water quality remains stable. Do not exceed 5 ml total liquid food suspension per 50 gallons daily during the first four weeks.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
- The Affirm service charge does not apply to confirmed defective or warranty returns.
