Product Description
Aquatic Life RO Pressure Gauge
Aquatic Life RO Pressure Gauge is an in-line reverse osmosis pressure gauge with a 1-150 PSI range and 1/4 inch quick-connect fittings for monitoring feed pressure on aquarium RO and RO/DI systems.
Aquatic Life RO Pressure Gauge with 1-150 PSI In-Line Monitoring
Water pressure has a major effect on reverse osmosis system output, rejection rate, membrane performance, and overall efficiency. This in-line gauge gives aquarists a quick way to see whether the RO system is receiving enough pressure and whether pressure has dropped due to clogged prefilters.
1/4 Inch Quick-Connect Gauge for Aquarium RO and RO/DI Systems
- Measures RO system pressure from 1-150 PSI.
- Comes assembled with 1/4 in. quick-connect tee fittings for in-line installation.
- Designed for use with most aquarium reverse osmosis systems.
- Helps confirm proper feed pressure before the RO membrane.
- Pressure drops can help indicate when sediment or carbon cartridges are restricting flow.
- Useful for troubleshooting low production, poor membrane performance, and high product-water TDS.
- Compact accessory for RO Buddie, RO/DI, and many other aquarium RO setups using 1/4 in. tubing.
Aquatic Life RO Pressure Gauge Placement Notes
A common installation point is after the sediment and carbon prefilters and before the RO membrane so the gauge shows working pressure reaching the membrane. This helps identify pressure loss caused by clogged prefilters while also confirming whether a booster pump may be useful for low-pressure source water.
Aquatic Life RO Pressure Gauge Installation Directions
- Turn off source water and depressurize the RO or RO/DI system.
- Cut the 1/4 in. tubing cleanly at the chosen installation point.
- Push tubing fully into the quick-connect fittings on the gauge assembly.
- Confirm tubing is seated securely and any retaining clips are installed if used.
- Turn source water back on slowly and check all fittings for leaks.
- Read pressure while the RO system is actively producing water.
- Use pressure readings to help diagnose clogged prefilters, low feed pressure, or booster pump needs.
